Filipe Luis to Chelsea... and Back Again.

Can he do it on a cold wet Wednesday night in Stoke?

I'm more concerned if he can do it on a warm Saturday afternoon against city!

He looks like he will relish the physical games, but I think he will need some serious guidance, if he is to be relied upon against the more technical sides.

I hope he stays, as it could be john Terrys last season, so it could be zouma's only season to learn from the master. Terry has helped cahill immensely, and I think zouma could become the best centre back in the world if he can learn from jt and Mourinho.

Watched a few games and he's a brilliant crosser something we have lacked from our fullbacks.

Couldn't agree more.  Really excited with what he'll bring to the table this year.  I'm very pleased with the off season so far, all great additions

Yes, consistently accurate crossing is an asset our club has been missing for far too long.  Especially when you consider just the sheer number of player at the club who are phenomenal headers of the ball. I think had that crossing talent been available last season it could of been the difference for winning the league.

How odd, never known so much faffing around with shirt numbers with Luis, Salah and Hazard having all swapped numbers and I'm sure there is more to come.

I am sure all the fans who bought the shirts with numbers and names will be pleased....but there again the shirts changed as well...nothing like making a fortune out of the 'workers'.

All part of the modern day rip off of football.

When I used to get shirts when I was younger we were keeping our kits for two years and they cost about half what they do now.

My parents were able to buy me a shirt and number and I'd get two years wear out of it before it was "out of date".

I was looking at buying the new yellow kit for my 6 year old and putting his name on the back but I just can't justify spending £40+ on an item of clothing that's out of date within 9 months.

I could go to a few places and kit him out with a new wardrobes worth of clothes for that sort of money and it's unfair that with the amount of money being made from TV deals, sponsorship I really don't understand why the cost of things like replica shirts needs to increase as well.

Because they can. They know the same as tickets to the match people will pay pretty much what ever they ask. Is it fair? No, but what can you do about it apart from not going to the matches or not buying the new shirt. The thing is the club know there are plenty more people out there that will go to the match and will buy the shirts so one person doesnt matter.
