Musonda looks soooooo young :laugh2:

Nice gesture though.

Watched quite a lot of the betis game, i'd be suprized if he got motm. He looked dangerous, but he is very raw, and gave the ball away a fair bit aswell.

Promising performance though.

Motm, today.

I'm not denying that he is a good player, I was merely stating I didn't realize he was as short as he is.

He has been tearing La Liga up so far I'm really not sure whether we should loan him there again next season or bring him back into the squad.

He definitely suits the league as it is a lot more light weight.

Watched the betis game. Musonda showed some flashes of brilliance, but also had long spells where he wasn't involved.

Still its good he got another 90 mins, and another assist. He's made an impressive start to his career.

I think with loans that are going well, we need the players to stay on loan at that club. They have the trust of the manager and are developing nicely so I don't think there is any point to disrupting that unless we have an immediate need for them.

As with all the youngsters, I'd let Conte decide. The lad will be 20 next year so it's important he's playing, but if we move on Oscar and maybe another attacking player then there's every chance he could get meaningful minutes.

Also here's his highlights from the Espanyol match. It's not just what he's doing that's impressive, it's what he's trying to do.

Hazard against Norwich tried to take on a player 4 times, succeeding 3.

Musonda against Betis tried to take on a player 11 times, succeeding 8.

Now it's different opponents, different conditions etc. but it's the willingness to do so, to take responsibility that is incredibly impressive.

Hopefully he stays at Betis another year and then we bring back a star on the rise in 2017.

I think it can work either way. So long as he's playing regularly then I think he'll be fine, and to be honest there's no reason he couldn't get minutes here.
