November 7, 201411 yr People will probably laugh, but i really think steven naismith is a tidy player and certainly wouldn't mind him at chelsea. Every time i see everton play, he is usually one of the stand out players, always causes the opposition trouble and works his bloody ass off too. Yeah then he would probably come to Chelsea and play like a bag of w**k, usually happens.
November 7, 201411 yr the trouble with england managers is they've got no bollox, none of them will drop players like rooney. for fear of ridicule, cloughie the last english manager with any balls, would not have stood for a striker who didn't score, he would have f**ked him off after five games with no goals. He's scored 5 in last 11, 11 in last 21 and 15 in last 26. That's a good record.

So does Willian and people moan about him all the time, Naismith would just be a sh*tter version of him.
November 7, 201411 yr He's scored 5 in last 11, 11 in last 21 and 15 in last 26. That's a good record. yes it is a good record against san marino, lichenstein, kazakstan, fact is he has only ever scored 4 goals against the top teams in the world. brazil twice, both friendlys, dutch friendly, argentina friendly, never scored a competitive goal against the top six sides in the world, the rest are against no marks, slovakia, belarus, you get the drift, avg goal per game for england 172mins. he's a sh*t lazy c**t with a bad hairdo. end of Edited November 7, 201411 yr by croydonblue
November 7, 201411 yr f**king spare us your drivel you twat! Did you ever think that "Foriegn" money from said tourists and merchandise sales help pay for the players we sign? You remind me of that bloke cab driver in the movie Football Factory. Pipe down and give it a f**king rest! Without foreign money coming in to the club we would not make FFP. You my friend are a complete idiot. Can't afford tickets? Perhaps you should have made more of yourself to have the ability to afford tickets. Sick of hearing people like you alienated because Chelsea has become a global brand where folks want to travel to London and see the club. f**king pathetic you are! I am a foreigner and have spent probably more money on the club than you. Give it a f**king rest already! You want trophies but yet you'll bitch about the foreign money that pays for it. I've been a Chelsea supporter since '94 and you know what I've never seen a match at the Bridge. However it does not mean I am no less a fan than you because you were born in England! Sick and tired of hearing people like you whine and moan about how foreigners are ruining Chelsea. No, we are not! We are providing revenue to the club who then sign world class players. Mind you most of those players are foreign to begin with! Run along and bitch to your boss about not making enough money and how life sucks because US FOREIGNERS are ruining your club! The dross you speak is f**king ridiculous! You want a world known club and the money but yet you don't like foreign supporters. Your Mum is calling, think she has some soup in the stove because clearly you can't feed yourself. To everyone else, my apologies! I simply find it ridiculous when fools like this comment about how Chelsea is a foreign club! For me, they will always be London's club regardless if us Yanks, Asians, Aussies, Latinos or freaking whoever else shows up. We all love the club as much as you and frankly want to see lower ticket prices for you English to go and sing so we can hear it on the television. However you want world class footballers be prepared to pay for it. It's not us foreigners who've raised ticket sales. It is the caliber of players we sign. I do my part and buy gear every year and if I lived in London I would try to see as many matches as I can afford and not bitch and moan about how tickets were once cheap. No competitive club nowadays can charge what they did years ago! It's called inflation and supply and demand. Basic economics says it all. Sorry truth hurts. You want a world brand you Have to accept foreign fans. I think this is what's known as reading between the lines... but also managing to somehow see a massive amount of sh*te that was never so much as vaguely alluded to. I don't live anywhere near London. And if I did, I doubt very much whether or not I'd be able to go to matches on a regular basis, certainly not to anywhere near the extent that I used to, that I used to take for granted before people like me were priced out. And yes we were the life blood of the club. We were the ones who created the club's reputation, we were the ones who made the atmosphere, established traditions. How many of these tourists and corporate fans - or even the foreign non-matching going fans - will be able to say the same in twenty or thirty years time? I'm not talking as a Chelsea fan here, but as a football supporter, one who's seen changes that were unimaginable a couple or three decades ago. Don't worry, I'm not going to wax lyrical about how wonderful it was in the good old bad old days. All I'm going to say is that with the type of fans that were the life blood of the game being priced out at Premier League clubs up and down the country, the lack of atmosphere (as mentioned elsewhere) is extremely unlikely to see any improvement. "Perhaps you should have made more of yourself to have the ability to buy tickets." Sorry sunshine but this really annoyed me. Who the f**k do you think you are? Seriously. Who the f**k are you? Football is traditionally a working class game that has had the heart and soul ripped out of it, not by owners like Roman Abramovich who do appear to genuinely love the game, and this particular club, but by the money men, the sanitisers who see the Premier League as a Global Brand to be promoted to as many markets as is feasibly possible. This is precisely the attitude that prioritises the more lucrative overseas and corporate markets. This is the attitude that is responsible for the new breed of seat-fillers who want to be entertained above all else, who regard a trip to the Bridge in the same way that they would regard a trip to the theatre or the opera or the f**king ballet. This is why it's so much easier for a bunch of tourists from the far east or where the f**k ever to buy a block of seats together than it is for supporters who scrimp and save and sacrifice in order to continue to fork out for their vastly overpriced season tickets, with little or no choice of where they sit or who they sit with. YOU FOREIGNERS may think that you are the future life blood of the game. You can dream of your first visit to Stamford Bridge,. you can tell describe yourself as a loyal supporter, tell yourself how much you love the club, that you are in no way a glory hunter, but the truth is that you have no real connection to the club. No more than I would if I were to announce myself as a supporter of,New York Mets and dedicated my every waking hour to discovering everything there was to know about them. I could dream of a trip to New York, but a Mets fan? Or a Yankees fan, same difference. I'd be kidding myself. Who am I? I'm just someone who used to go to football, that's all. Home and away, week in, week out. I'm a former matchgoer. I don't dream of the day I'll next be able to able to go to Stamford Bridge, Financial and health reasons make such a trip unlikely. The difference between me and you is that I DO have a connection with the club, been there, seen it done it. And I was well f**king skint half the time, but I made an effort. I was younger and healthier then. But maybe if I'd made more of myself, I'd be able to afford luxury travel every other week, ill health notwithstanding. Clown. You haven't got a clue. November 7, 201411 yr This chat is so unnecessary and boring. Can't we just together enjoy the fact that united, arsenal, city and lpool are all disappointing their fans and CFC are pleasing theirs?!! Come on lads...
November 7, 201411 yr Are there any views, now, on how the league is looking? Can anyone put together a predicted top third of the table? After last season it's clear that the key period is Christmas until the season's end but performance now will set teams up for the new year. I can't call the table myself. City will shortly be focusing on the league but they are not consistent enough to win unless a possible change of manager lights a fire under the player's arses. United will not be a threat until they can defend. Arsenal seem to be playing poorly (generalising) but getting lucky results. I can't take them seriously as title challengers because they are not in that place mentally or in terms of their team. Liverpool and Spurs? Fourth place seems a big ask for us, again, and LFC are way off the pace for a variety of oft-discussed reasons. Southampton are impressive - need they falter? Past experience of 'smaller' teams being in similar situations would suggest yes but I don't see why that will happen. Views welcome as yous chaps talk a lot of sense.
November 7, 201411 yr P.s. I left out West Ham! They are scoring and seem robust. What can they do this season? I'm pleased for Allardyce as he took a load of sh*t from fans and the press, last year.
November 7, 201411 yr Sometimes, it makes me laugh to read about some limey here who thinks he is a better fan because he's managed to attend more games than folks who don't live in London.

If he should make more of himself, then maybe you should to, and you'd be able to afford the trip over to watch the club you've spent so much money on! Life long overseas fans are not the problem, the problem are the tourists who would go and see any match, as long as it was a premier league match, you know the ones, taking photos when a goal goes in, instead of celebrating! Who said any of us fans wanted a global brand?
November 7, 201411 yr Piss off Sage you have no idea what being a Chelsea fan is. There are people on this forum who have supported the club through thick and extremely thin. Who have spent fortunes following the team at places that you wouldn't even heard of in this Limey country of ours. Little tits like you haven't got the right to slag off Chelsea fans. Go on to the vintage section and see real Chelsea fans who have been there and done it and have got brilliant stories to tell. What have you ever done spilled your 7up on your armchair when cheering a goal you absolute pussy. You don't just start supporting a football team when your middle aged or a teenager you start off when your a kid four years old in my case. That's the way it was in the 70's in London so just stick to writing your pathetic little musings
November 7, 201411 yr Sometimes, it makes me laugh to read about some limey here who thinks he is a better fan because he's managed to attend more games than folks who don't live in London. Out of interest where are you from and how old are you? I would say those who frequently attend matches regardless of where they live are the cornerstone of our support and without them there wouldn't be the Chelsea we have now.
November 7, 201411 yr Bazza You know f**k all about me. Just another arrogant drivel posted by you. Write coherent sentences preferably in Limey English. As Carefree said it's cards on the table time where you from and how old are you. And does mummy make you eat a big breakfast before getting up early to watch your favourite soccer team. (I hope you noticed i spelt favourite with a U there's some Limey English).
November 7, 201411 yr What on earth is going on here? Dunno but if I need to bring out the guns it wont end well for anyone!
November 7, 201411 yr yes it is a good record against san marino, lichenstein, kazakstan, fact is he has only ever scored 4 goals against the top teams in the world. brazil twice, both friendlys, dutch friendly, argentina friendly, never scored a competitive goal against the top six sides in the world, the rest are against no marks, slovakia, belarus, you get the drift, avg goal per game for england 172mins. he's a sh*t lazy c**t with a bad hairdo. end of No, not end of. The majority of his latest goals I mention have all been in competitive matches. He can't score against teams better than those that are put against him.
November 7, 201411 yr Double Helix, inflation affects everything. My dad used to go to matches in the 50s and 60s for "the price of a pint of milk or a couple of mars bars". Now either milk is really expensive these days or ticket prices have risen far, FAR more than the rate of inflation.
November 7, 201411 yr Sometimes, it makes me laugh to read about some limey here who thinks he is a better fan because he's managed to attend more games than folks who don't live in London. Yeah, a Chelsea supporter who has been up and down the country spending a large proportion of their wage supporting Chelsea through thick and thin is better than a "fan" (there's a difference) from the Far East or America who thinks he's die-hard Chelsea because he has bought a replica top, has a blue themed bedroom and stays up late to watch Chelsea games on TV.
November 7, 201411 yr Dunno but if I need to bring out the guns it wont end well for anyone! This is going to end badly unless it de-escalates; I don't think that posters calling English fans 'limeys' is helpful. It's astonishingly bloody cheeky to be honest. This is a great site and this thread is very good and some calm is needed.
November 7, 201411 yr This chat is so unnecessary and boring. Can't we just together enjoy the fact that united, arsenal, city and lpool are all disappointing their fans and CFC are pleasing theirs?!! Come on lads... If you find the current turn of conversation boring, that's a matter or taste. But unnecessary? Little statements like "Perhaps if you'd made more of yourself... " are inflammatory and need to be addressed. Sometimes, it makes me laugh to read about some limey here who thinks he is a better fan because he's managed to attend more games than folks who don't live in London. You're easily amused, that much is apparent. Funny that the only people who have actually hinted at the question of what makes a better fan are foreigners. Did I say that? Did charriere or anyone else? No I didn't. I did however, take offence at DoubleHelix's post, and I have every right and reason to. I've already mentioned the "If you'd made more of yourself..." statement, but the entire post is full of similarly if slightley lesser inflamattory remarks. On to your remark about "Some limey here". I don't find it to be as inflamatory as DoubleHelix's, but it does portray you as a bit of a twat, but every bit as clueless, about what it means to support a football club, and about what's actually been written in this thread.
