What's everyone's favourite fa cup moment besides actually winning it?

I have a few 2-0. Luton at wembely

The whole fa cup run in 97 was amazing especially the 4-2 against the dippers and loved mark Hughes 3rd goad against Wimbledon at Highbury and he's volley away at pompey. Poyets double against Newcastle was fun also.

One of the things I remember most about the game against Luton was the great reception Kerry Dixon - then playing for Luton - got from the Chelsea fans.

Zola's goal against Wimbledon was class. The way he turned the Wimbledon defender was class. Was in the North Bank for the game and had a great view.

FA Cup will always be great

After watching our match in the pub tomorrow I will be in attendance at York City v AFC Wimbledon in the first round ( I am a student in York)

Dunno why Bosingwa never did anything about his brow, can't be that hard to fix.

As for Jamie Redknapp, I don't mind him. Speaks his mind, which I often agree with. He was the first to condemn Suarez over the Ivanovic bite in the studio while the others were umming and erring about how bad it was. I also thinks he's less biased than other pundits with a strong connection to a club like Souness or Niall Quinn. He's thick as two short planks with regards to most things but knows his stuff about football. Also seems like a genuinely nice guy based on watching A League Of Their Own.

I know this will be an unpopular opinion.

Chelsea 4 Liverpool 2 1978 - we were struggling at the bottom of Division 1 (I think it was our first season back?) they were winning everything.  We went mental when we went 1 nil up - but the afternoon just kept getting better - I remember falling over when we celebrated our second and some guy just reached down and hauled me up before I was trampled on.  TBH I probably couldn't see much being 5'3" and standing in the Shed - but wow!  What a day!

My dad was at that he still remembers it fondly

It was so easy to lose your footing in the surge following a goal - especially with a few beers inside you!

You aren't named after your dad are you?  I went out around that time with a Chelsea fan called Graham!!

No my dads names is Eddie. I would have liked to been older when I was first in the shed

Ha ha!  Thought it unlikely!  What did you mean by the bit in bold?  Did you go to the Shed when you were young?  Or am I being obtuse?

Stood in the shed in 94 against united saw f**k all but would have preferred to be older.

Ah right - at least you can say you stood in the Shed!  And being older wouldn't have helped me as I never grew!  I can probably see better now in all-seaters than I used to but still pine for the terraces!

Bit of a short arse myself. Lol. I'm off to bed now dreaming of a win at anfiekd. Night

With players like Falcoa reportedly on about 245k per week, Rooney on about 300k per week, and god knows how much Ronaldo and Messi are on, how long do you think it will be until we see the first 1 million per week salary? It seems a long way off, but it was only about 10-15 years ago that 30k per week was a hell of a lot for a Chelsea player.

I've officially written off the title now, I really thought today was the day, A huge statement made by Chelsea today, When Can scored that goal, I thought here we go but the response was of an absolute machine, I have no qualms losing the title to this side. I don't want to hear any pessimistic Chelsea fans come in here and play this down, Revel in how good your side is, Europe is where you need to worry about, and even then I can only see 2/3 sides knocking you out, Bayern, Real and PSG. That's three of your toughest away league games out of the way and not one defeat, Jesus Christ, Fair play.

Devil Dog, At first i applauded Millwall for doing this but the more they try and milk this, The cynic in me think's it's some sort of way repairing their image and a bit of publicity stunt, However i'm willing to ignore that and still applaud the gesture as it's for a very worthy cause.

Long way to go though, leads like this have been pulled back before.

If QPR beat you today I think it will be a big task

If I was a Man City fan, I wouldn't lose hope just yet - whatever Pellegrini's flaws as a manager, their individual quality means that it's impossible to write them off, especially at this stage. It isn't over till it's over.

However, they will need to beat QPR today. If QPR play the way they did last week it could be a challenge, given that Man City's side has clearly been weakened by injury and is somewhat low on morale - but I still consider Man City comfortable favourites.

EDIT: RE Europe, I consider Bayern and Real the most obvious threats to a Chelsea victory, though Atletico and Barcelona still remain a concern. PSG are a side with immense individual quality but a flawed manager in Laurent Blanc (they haven't convinced in Ligue 1 at all).

I must admit that we have to have confidence today, we shown great resilience against Liverpool, that's the type you need to go on and win titles. Liverpool are the only team in the league that really want to see us burn for what we did to them but we still handled it and away.

But to be fair Kink, it's the Premier League and I have to remind you that anything can still happen, both of your Premier League titles where unexpected you must have written them both off at the end of the season surely? After your loss at Anfield and even when Arteta scored that strike against you and you lost 1-0 to Arsenal and where 8 points down in 6 games was it?

But City have shown great character themselves this season such as the Arsenal game, the game was all with Arsenal the momentum to come and kickstart but City shut them up despite having the odds against them, that's what being a Champion is about. You've also beaten United, Spurs and Liverpool yourselves so don't get like this now, your big game record is arguably better than ours is right now.
