November 6, 201411 yr I honestly would have swapped lambert, or even rooney, for kane. Neither have really done anything special for a while now. It is about time we brought some new, young blood into the national side. We constantly bring young footballers into the squad, Stones, Shaw, Sterling, Chambers, Ox, Wilshere, Barkley and Berahino are all young English footballers with recent call ups just off the top of my head.
November 6, 201411 yr Bless you having to get up at 4am and drinking bad coffee! Many on here would trade places with you in a heart beat. sadly there's a wee bit of water in between NI and England, which I cant swim across. However, I am going over in a few weeks for the West Brom game and I haven't even got a ticket sorted yet. :/ There's awful criticism on here when it comes to talking about fans from other parts of the world and its not right. We are all supporters, some are luckier than others by their location, but we should be encouraging each other, not peering down ones nose at another. i'm not talking about you zola, i'm talking about twats like my neighbour, who is just a close to ground but is a plastic, the coffees not a problem i think the esso next to the harley shop is open then!

No problem.
November 6, 201411 yr And thank God Glen Johnson has been dropped. Clyne has been about 100 x better this season. He's been better than Johnson ever since Southampton got promoted.
November 6, 201411 yr The only time Glen Johnson was any good was when he played on the WING for Portsmouth, he's always been a sh*te right back
November 6, 201411 yr The only time Glen Johnson was any good was when he played on the WING for Portsmouth, he's always been a sh*te right back Even Scousers don't rate him. Thank God he's not in the squad tho' other usual suspects are.
November 6, 201411 yr He's been better than Johnson ever since Southampton got promoted. Can't say I really knew much about him till this season but I don't doubt it, he looks good and Johnson is just terrible.
November 6, 201411 yr Wait a sec, 3 left backs in the squad and Bertrand wasn't picked? We have plenty of left backs at the moment. Gibbs is in really good form and Bained is decent. Would have picked Bertrand over Shaw though.
November 6, 201411 yr We have plenty of left backs at the moment. Gibbs is in really good form and Bained is decent. Would have picked Bertrand over Shaw though. I would have picked Bertrand over all of them. He is part of the best defense in the league at the moment, he should be first choice. I have never seen Baines have a decent game for England, give someone else a go i say.
November 6, 201411 yr Bertrand has been better than Shaw all season, Shaw's reputation is already bigger than he is.
November 6, 201411 yr Bertrand has been better than Shaw all season, Shaw's reputation is already bigger than he is. What you don't like the most expensive English Teenager ever
November 6, 201411 yr Shaw continues the trend set by many before (most notably Tom Cleverley) if you're English it doesn't matter how well you are playing or if you're actually any good you will get called up by England aslong as you play for Man Utd.
November 6, 201411 yr Kane scores again. Pochettino has run out of reasons not to start him in the PL. It is early doors with Kane but he must be attracting attention with his current form.
November 6, 201411 yr f**king spare us your drivel you twat! Did you ever think that "Foriegn" money from said tourists and merchandise sales help pay for the players we sign? You remind me of that bloke cab driver in the movie Football Factory. Pipe down and give it a f**king rest! Without foreign money coming in to the club we would not make FFP. You my friend are a complete idiot. Can't afford tickets? Perhaps you should have made more of yourself to have the ability to afford tickets. Sick of hearing people like you alienated because Chelsea has become a global brand where folks want to travel to London and see the club. f**king pathetic you are! I am a foreigner and have spent probably more money on the club than you. Give it a f**king rest already! You want trophies but yet you'll bitch about the foreign money that pays for it. I've been a Chelsea supporter since '94 and you know what I've never seen a match at the Bridge. However it does not mean I am no less a fan than you because you were born in England! Sick and tired of hearing people like you whine and moan about how foreigners are ruining Chelsea. No, we are not! We are providing revenue to the club who then sign world class players. Mind you most of those players are foreign to begin with! Run along and bitch to your boss about not making enough money and how life sucks because US FOREIGNERS are ruining your club! The dross you speak is f**king ridiculous! You want a world known club and the money but yet you don't like foreign supporters. Your Mum is calling, think she has some soup in the stove because clearly you can't feed yourself. To everyone else, my apologies! I simply find it ridiculous when fools like this comment about how Chelsea is a foreign club! For me, they will always be London's club regardless if us Yanks, Asians, Aussies, Latinos or freaking whoever else shows up. We all love the club as much as you and frankly want to see lower ticket prices for you English to go and sing so we can hear it on the television. However you want world class footballers be prepared to pay for it. It's not us foreigners who've raised ticket sales. It is the caliber of players we sign. I do my part and buy gear every year and if I lived in London I would try to see as many matches as I can afford and not bitch and moan about how tickets were once cheap. No competitive club nowadays can charge what they did years ago! It's called inflation and supply and demand. Basic economics says it all. Sorry truth hurts. You want a world brand you Have to accept foreign fans. F*ck me. Have you calmed down yet ? It's been a very long time since I have read so much vitriol, and I certainly didn't expect to read it on a Chelsea fans forum, let alone aimed at Chelsea fans.

I can understand Double Helix' reaction. He feels offended by charierre talking about 'real fans' not able to pay tickets anymore, while the amount of tourists grows at Stamford Bridge and Double Helix thinks charierre means people like DoubleHelix aren't real fans. I am also yealous at you Englishmen as someone from Holland. Been only once to the Bridge, luckily the game against Wigan Athletic on 9 may 2010 ;) Since that day I'm a foreign fan of Chelsea. I'm proud of being a gloryhunter lol.

Seeing us win 8-0 and winning the title at the same time must have been amazing in the stadium.

Really was a wonderful day indeed, haha! 8-0, celebrating the title and afterwards all those people on the streets

I have never seen Baines have a decent game for England, give someone else a go i say. the trouble with england managers is they've got no bollox, none of them will drop players like rooney. for fear of ridicule, cloughie the last english manager with any balls, would not have stood for a striker who didn't score, he would have f**ked him off after five games with no goals.
