I wish I shared the confidence of everyone else on here. I am convinced despite being a vastly better side, we'll come a cropper on Saturday.

It's certainly in our hands and we're due a fine performance after the last couple of rather average run outs - by our standards.

the reason why Rodgers played like that tonight was that he did finally realise that if Liverpool tried to play their usual game and attack Madrid they would be torn to shreds.

 

i think Liverpool will try to play on the break against us on Saturday and he may well play the same back four as tonight - or maybe bring Johnson back in.

Rawk's hate for us is amazing. They constantly go on about us being a nothing club, no history, that we try desperately to be relevant but no one cares, yet talk about us nearly as much as they do about the mancs........

Of course there is that and they will treat it like a cup final but I look at Jose and the pressure of that game last season and look what happened.

We are a far superior side than that game while they are a far weaker side than back then.

I'm quietly confident because our manager doesn't seem to lose big games and Liverpool ain't scoring while they are conceding for fun.
