DaRick, I see what you're saying about PSG but the injury to Ibra has given Cavani a chance and he's taken it, So now that Cavani is firing and if Ibra gets going again, It's hard to ignore them.

True, you can't write them off completely but I don't really think Blanc has what it takes. More power to him if he proves me wrong though.

I still believe that L'OM will beat them

Bloody blind starting at centre back? Lmao

Has anyone seen Uniteds back 4, jesus christ, Palace could equally win this.

I do like that Blanc though, worth mentioning he's a good bloke, very gracious in defeat to us last season and wished us all the best. Rare attitude to find in this competitive game.

The deeper into the season Utd get, the less bad Moyes' efforts last season seem. Why isn't Van Gaal under more pressure?

Because he's foreign, essentially.

Slawth, It's a tad offensive to compare this current Chelsea side to the United side who choked against us and Liverpool faced the wrong side at the wrong time at the wrong place last year, If they played any other side that day they would have won the league for me. The only chance of Chelsea going through a bad spell would be if Matic got injured for a month or two during the Christmas/New Year period or if Terry got injured, All this nonsense that United and Arsenal fans have been spouting that if Costa gets injured Chelsea are done is absolute rubbish, Costa is only as good as the system in which he plays in, Don't get me wrong he is very good but if Remy got a 2 or 3 game run with Hazard, Oscar and Fabregas feeding him I think he would be just as deadly.

Moyes actually had a really hard start as well, he played like the top 4 in his first 8 games or something didn't he?

I agree with you, the midfield is where we are quite thin in, even defence a tad bit.

Although I wasn't really comparing I was just saying that this is what the Premier League is, you must have written your team off those seasons you won it? I believe we should have won it last season but we dropped points against silly teams, something we could be capable of doing again this season even more so if we get even further ahead due to complacency.

It's not over until its over, I'm not just saying that either, I mean I'm glad to be in this position no doubt about it but this is the way how it is and I have not written City off.

Because they are putting in better performances and actually look like getting better.

You don't always get rewarded for good performances though and we shouldn't try and rewrite history here. Moyes was f**king awful, horrible prehistoric football and United looked like they were getting worse with every game.

Remodez, He's 1/10 to be next Real Sociedad manager Lol I feel sorry for them.

I think he would do fairly well for Real Sociedad based on the admittedly very small amount I've seen from them, they focus heavily on wing play.

doesn't look like southampton are f**king off any time soon - bar stewards!

I detect the jovial tone there.

It's quite refreshing to see another team breaking into the top four. It was Everton last season and appears to be Southampton now. Good on them, I have nothing against the Saints.
