Not that I'm complaining but why are Chelsea being made to play on the Monday night four days prior to the boxing day fixture and playing 3 games in 6 days as opposed to everyone else playing 3 games in 8/7 days, Yet Liverpool get to play a day after Chelsea play away to Southampton which despite them playing today compensates them the extra rest day. Have I been hanging around on here too long or is there a genuine argument to be had that Chelsea have been given a slight raw deal when it comes to the holiday period fixtures?

You've been hanging around here for too long.

I don't believe there is any conspiracy against us, it's just the way the draw is. Look at it logically, the season starts on a certain day and ends on a certain day. Every club plays the same number of PL games between those days which means that we must get extra rest days at some other point in the season.

A win-win for us tonight.

If Arsenal lose, we get to see Claude.

If Liverpool lose, RAWK will be juicy.

A draw would be boring I guess, but I doubt that will happen.

Coming to think of it Joey, I do fancy a meltdown on ArsenalfansTV.

Oh so much to choose from, it's actually got that point were a draw would be a DISASTER.

How sh*t of an outcome would that be.

A draw wouldn't be so bad I suppose

That much further away from the Mighty Chels

I made a similar complaint in the match day thread. I don't think it's a conspiracy, but it is certainly unfair. You get to play on a Saturday at 12:45 and we play on a Monday at 8pm, why couldn't Chelsea play on a Saturday at 5:30pm ? no other prem games were on at that time so they could easily have fit it in. A Monday night game just before the boxing day fixtures is really dumb.

Well yeah sure but think on I'm ordering tonight and having a drink :laugh2:

I can't think logically right now.

Bloody hell, does Rodgers ever show sides respect?

I'll be very surprised if Arsenal don't win this game, they've gone 3 at the back with not exactly great covering, Stevie in the middle as usual and Markovic on the left.
