March 18, 201511 yr Alan smith commentating on sanchez's dive on sky couldn't contain his rage about how he 'was blatantly clipped there'...unbelievable
March 18, 201511 yr Alan smith commentating on sanchez's dive on sky couldn't contain his rage about how he 'was blatantly clipped there'...unbelievable Well yeah, happens to them, Liverpool or United it is a crime. Happens to us and it is "what goes around comes around" or we are just seen as blatant divers and cheats. How many pens have we been given this season in the League? 2, how about the rest of them? Far more I bet. Top of the table but only 2 pens? How many should have we been given? Fairly given I mean.
March 18, 201511 yr Have to laugh...fa come out and say players surrounding officials has gone up across the leagues...of course all coverage since last week and again in this article, concentrates on chelsea http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31927844 Oh isn't it funny that Greg Dyke only speaks up now about this, just under a week after we were recently crticised for doing it by the media and Sky. This is just more proof that the useless twats at the F.A only react to things when it get's highlighted by Sky or the media. Where was Greg Dyke when it was going on every single match before we got criticised for it ? Well yeah, happens to them, Liverpool or United it is a crime. Happens to us and it is "what goes around comes around" or we are just seen as blatant divers and cheats. How many pens have we been given this season in the League? 2, how about the rest of them? Far more I bet. Top of the table but only 2 pens? How many should have we been given? Fairly given I mean. I think that since our last penalty was awarded to us the total that we should have had since then was something like 12, we can add another 2 to that from the game against Southampton. I have never seen anything like it. Liverpool were getting so many dodgy penalties last season, they ended up with 12 penalties given to them in the end. The decisions even themselves out they say.............yeah, sure they do
March 18, 201511 yr If there is one stat I'd like to come out of arsenal's champions league exit is not how many years in a row they've qualified for it, which gets rammed down our throats every season, but how many years in row they have failed in it...far more significant and reflective of arsenal's standing as a club

March 18, 201511 yr Don't forget it's extended to Europe too...forgotten among the disgust expressed in media over our behaviour in getting Ibra sent off last week, was a blatant pen ignored in first half, which would have settled nerves and small matter of Luiz elbowing Costa off the ball that was also missed by the match officials..but on top of Ibra outrage, there was more anger at Costa's late tackle in second half
March 18, 201511 yr This anti-Chelsea hysteria is spreading like the f##king plague!! Thank you very f##king much Sky you bunch of amature low lives!!!
March 18, 201511 yr If atletico draw real next, they have a great chance of progression. Atletico have been a thorn in real madrid's side a lot this season. I hope they get that draw and put real out. Hala atletico! Edited March 18, 201511 yr by enigma
March 18, 201511 yr sh*t, Torres has progressed in the CL further than Chelsea.... Good luck to him.I'd prefer Atletico winning it to any of the big boys left.
March 18, 201511 yr http://m.skysports.com/article/sports/9764498 Neville deserves the awards he's been a brilliant pundit, easily the best in the business
March 18, 201511 yr Well-deserved, although he hardly has much competition, the vast majority of pundits and commentators are utterly appalling and are often entirely unbearable. I'm not entirely sure how they manage it, there must be plenty of people who can talk about football articulately and have an in-depth understanding of the game, yet the TV channels consistently fail to find them.
March 18, 201511 yr http://m.skysports.com/article/sports/9764498 Neville deserves the awards he's been a brilliant pundit, easily the best in the business unlike his colleagues on sky (Carragher and redknapp in particular), has not let the club he played for effect his judgement on others...only one not to be a lemming last week and take cheap pot shots at chelsea over surrounding the ref, cos unlike those wanabee pundits, he knew he'd done it too and 1) couldn;t be a hypocrite and 2) knows gamesmanship comes into it if you want to win things... think others also pointed out that somehow Barnes' disgraceful leg breaker on matic couldn't have been bad cos chelsea didn't react to it and also that they'd seen Hazard get the sh*t kicked out of him in paris, didn;t kick up a stink and he was rewarded with no protection from the ref
March 18, 201511 yr Wenger gracious in defeat as always. Asked if Monaco deserved to progress, Wenger said: "I don't believe so. "If you look at the number of shots on target they had you will be surprised. Every defeat hurts but we didn't lose."

"If you look at the number of shots on target they had you will be surprised. Every defeat hurts but we didn't lose." Do Arsenal ever 'deserve' to lose according to him? At least for all his faults Piers Morgan says it how it is, and Mertesacker, the captain - 'We could have done more but [Monaco] deserve it I think.'Hopefully this shatters their confidence, I take being in a title race with Man City but not Arsenal..... but it looks like we are.
March 18, 201511 yr Ha ha...but this is a more funny admission from Wenger that is sure to wind up arsenal fan tv guys...says they'd be better off in Europa league #specialistinfailure http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-would-be-better-off-in-the-europa-league-admits-dejected-arsene-wenger-10115298.html
March 18, 201511 yr That's why I laugh when Arsenal fans have a go at Mourinho, Wenger talks more sh*t than any manager on the planet and is never gracious in defeat.
March 18, 201511 yr Neville is by far away the most un-biased, fair and knowledgeable pundit/commentator out there; a million miles in front the other f**ktards they wheel out. I swear the commentators last night though were almost in tears when it finished 2-0; don't remember them being that gutted last week when it was us going out...

It's clear there's huge bias in the media against us and we're clearly seen as enemies of football.

Be glad you don't have to listen to the norwegian commentary in the CL. Honestly those guys have hated chelsea since barcelona got thumped and we nicked the CL from bayern in their own backyard
March 18, 201511 yr Manuel Pellegrini was "lucky" to inherit a strong Manchester City side and should be winning titles every year, says former boss Roberto Mancini. City are behind Chelsea in the Premier League and trail Barcelona 2-1 heading into the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, with Pellegrini's future the subject of much speculation. "Pellegrini was lucky because he got a strong team," Mancini told CNN. "I think City should and must try to win a title every year."
March 18, 201511 yr Think I'd like to see City go through tonight for two reasons: 1) Not a huge fan of Barca 2) Think we need them (City) to be occupied on two fronts
March 18, 201511 yr So what are the predictions folks? Us top. Manchester City 2nd Arsenal 3rd Liverpool 4th Don't ask me why, possibly just wishful thinking on my part, but I think United are going to bottle it in their final games. City are having a bit of a wobble right now but their overall quality in their squad will see them through.
