At least man city have a vision and have created one of the best academies in the world as they know these owners wont last forever. Once the sheikhs leave, city will produce bucketloads of talent. If abramovich leaves you will return to mediocrity. This is a fact, as a wise spanish man once said.

WTF?

We are special 18 league titles and 5 european cups. And you want me to talk about chelsea i will. A decade ago you were a small midtable club with no vision and were 'just another team' like aston villa. A decade from now you will return to that mediocre team after abramovich has finished his monopoly game. Also your lucky players are mercenaries these days or nobody would give you a second look. Take away the money and your left with a medicore club with a small fanbase and your rivals would be fulham in an intense london derby. You also have a poor academy and produce very little if any decent players and unless you get lucky with another moneybag after abramovich i feel sorry for you.

How do you think Liverpool became so big? Do you think they just became good randomly? No they had financial investment from there owners. Don't believe me? Look it up yourself. Without the money you would not have had the history and the best players you had over the years so you wouldn't of had those titles and trophies, think before you blink my son.

Don't go talking about morals and money because money has been running and controlling football for at least 80 years.

It's all about time son, right now we are in a moment where Chelsea is the devil, give it 50 years and Chelsea could be the most renowned club in England.

You are one stupid c**t

Doesn't frighten me one bit, the only players i would take out of their squad is Aguero and Dzeko.

Dzeko? I'm a little surprised to read that, I would have thought Zabaleta or Kompany to partner Terry would be the other one alongside Kun, I thought other clubs fans saw Dzeko as a bit of non entity, I was wrong i guess.

Holy sh*t he's wheeled out all the cliches and then said why city is different.

Pray tell who city's great academy products are.

Micah Richards haha, I'll be honest we haven't got a foot to stand on in this debate.

Another "When Abramovich gets bored" argument.

You were saying that 5 years ago. Stupid, small time scousers and your cult of a club. How does it feel to know that we were the ones who stopped you from winning the title you desperately craved? Bitter c**t. f**k off.

Liverpool fans are hilarious tbh.

Even with Champions League football and over 100 million to spend they still can't attract the very best players in the world  :laugh2:

"Roman will get bored quickly" they cried when he first arrived, and he's still here.

"Roman will leave soon, he has no love for your club" they cried, and he's still here.

"When you win the champions league he will leave" they cried, and he's still here.

They are idiots.

Ah come on now, they have signed all those world class players from that world class team Southampton.

I would have loved Dzeko's goals at Chelsea last season. I personally feel he is underappreciated at City. 26 goals in 46 games is pretty impressive.

The main reason why i wouldn't take any of City's other players is because i don't think Chelsea need them. We were missing a striker, if we had either one of Aguero and Dzeko we would have won the league in my opinion.

So much crap in one paragraph, it's like reading something that prick Aldridge would come out with.

I remember after we won the Champions League people were saying he will get bored and sell because he finally got what he wanted....

We then spent over 80 million that summer on the likes of Hazard, Oscar and Azpi

Roman is here to build an empire

He has the nerve to talk about money and Abramovich when his own club is also owned by a foreign billionaire and they've spent the best part of £250m in the past decade. Funnily enough, Liverpool's success in their heyday coincided with the investment from Littlewoods which began in the early 60s with John Moores. Then in the early 90s the Pools was gazumped by the National Lottery and they stopped winning things. Just a coincidence I'm sure.

It's arguments like this that make me thank the lord Liverpool didn't win the league last year, Imagine the headlines, 'Footballing justice prevails, Liverpool show City and Chelsea how money can't buy everything' or 'Rodgers' British wonder kids embarrass City and Chelsea's overpaid foreign mercenaries'.

You havent won the league since 2010 and yet season after season you are regarded as favourites before a ball is kicked. You then go on to fail and blame the manager who is sacked and replaced. Same merry go round yearly. This time it is mourinho however which makes it all the more sweeter. Cant wait for you to fall away and i wonder who will be to blame. Yet your manager still has the nerve to say our squad is not ready yet when he has one of the biggest squads which is mostly filled with dross. Top names on paper, awful for chelsea. You know why? Its because that c**t mourinho has negative tactics and doesnt have a clue how to manage talented players. Look at madrid, first season without him, become european champions. Coincidence? I think not. Fact is, he does not maximise his attacking talents and instead hinders their attacking instinct so defence comes first. Mata is a perfect example. Mark my words as they will happen, you will fall out of the title race and end up 3rd however woudnt he surprised at all if you were even below that.

Liverpool are going to get merced next season without Suarez. .We're taking your top 4 spot, rather it was never yours to begin with hence we'll be taking back OUR spot.

Make your mind up then your spot or ours. And its funny how for you lot its not the players its all manager, manager and manager. Yet for us apparently manager is nothing its about players. What you seem to forget is that rodgers is the difference not suarez. If it was suarez we woudnt be 7th in his first season, 8th in his second and 7th in his third. The difference is rodgers and as long as we are in his hands i am confident we will be challenging for the league.

If Rodgers was such a good manager you would have won the league last season. You really should have. Now you've no Suarez and as 'good' as BR is that's a huge loss. You also have European football to contend with and the fact that you won't be so lucky this season with injuries and all those penalties you got. Seriously, last season was a freak year where literally everything went your way. I mean you got a penalty against us again the other night (Surprise surprise .....) even though Jones touched the ball first, and you still couldn't beat us and that's the worst we've played all preseason.

The fact is that your defense is crap, it's even worse than ours which is saying something considering ours is sh*t, you've an aging Gerrard who's only good for slipping, and the amazing Rickie Lambert up front to replace all those goals and assists that Suarez netted you last season. The big difference this season will be that your defense is still sh*t yet you won't have the goals to bail you out, that and your squad will be hammered with injuries like everyone else due to CL football.

Once moreno is signed i can comfortably say our defence is quality and mucj better than yours. Moreno, sakho, lovren and manquillo is a solid back 4 with serious pace on the wings. Add coates, johnson, agger, skrtel and flanagan and you have a real good defence. Compare that to jones, evans, smalling, shaw plus whoever else you have and it really is a no contest.

Moreno hasn't signed yet and Johnson, Agger, Skrtel and Flanagan are terrible defenders, and while you may knock Jones, Smalling and Evans, they conceded like 10 less goals than your back 4 last season, and that was with Moyes in charge. Even if you do address your defense, which I'm yet to be convinced you have since none of your signings worry me, you've still got to get another striker and probably another CM too.

Lets not forget gerrard also topped the assist charts and scored over 10 goals. If he continues that then i would be happy to keep him for many more years as his eye for a pass is not matched by many despite him losing a few yards of pace.

You're such a f**king hypocrite.

I bet you had no problem with playing defensive football under Benitez. I remember Benitez always saying that he would set his teams up not to lose a game. He would never say he set his teams out to win a game. There were plenty of times under Benitez where you would play so called "negative" football.

Also, you obviously don't watch much of Chelsea if you think all we do is play "negative" football. How many times did we play that way exactly ? 3 times from what i remember. Once against Man United at the start of the season, once against your lot, which we won 2-0, and once against Atletico Madrid.

So, 3 out of about 50 games.

You haven't got a clue what you are talking about. You have just repeated all the sh*te that ends up in the papers.

Somebody c

Guess you could say you'll never fall alone, he managed to ruin it for everyone else as well.

Pretty much all of his goals were scored from the penalty spot, and he is one of the most overrated passers of all time. His glory passes go flying out of play far to regularly for him to be called a great passer. 3 or 4 passes will fly out of play and then 1 will come off and everyone thinks he is some sort of world class passer of the ball. Laughable.
