Bear in mind all 4 players were brought in by rodgers, and none have actually been sold yet!
August 6, 201411 yr Think of the money the owner of RAWK could get from all those people that visit it for a good laugh, wouldn't be surprised if those big sponsors where knocking on the door.
August 6, 201411 yr aye united dont have a great squad but moyes was really holding them back. I probably agree about us being the most vulnerable, you and city are undoubtedly gona be top 2, arsenal have improved their first 11 while we have weakened ours, although i think we may just have a stronger squad, it'll be an interesting season Liverpool fan you must be having a laugh. Chelsea are utter sh*te and so are city. How you can say they are guaranteed top 2 is beyond me. Firstly mourinhos parked bus will not break down teams who use similar tactics (westham). I believe they are a poor side who play negative football. They may win big games but will inevitably struggle against the bottom sides despite signing diego overrated costa.
August 6, 201411 yr We will finish 1st as the squad is now much better. City will challenge us but will fall just short and chelsea will fall away just like last season. United and arsenal will battle for 4th spot which will leave 6th and 7th for spurs and everton. This is my genuine prediction and just by having big names does not guarantee the top spots and la liga last year supports this.

Isn't it lovely to have another scouser on here makes it really enjoyable. NOT
August 6, 201411 yr What makes everyone think we will drop out is no suarez. What you need to realize is that the squad is now much bigger and we can cope with injuries(once a new striker is brought in) How did athletico fair without falcao? Won the league. How did united cope without ronaldo? Won leagues. So anyone who thinks we will drop without him is in for a big surprise.

August 6, 201411 yr What you fail to realise is we don't give a sh*t what you think. Why would we this is a chelsea fourmNo sh*t sherlock its a chelsea forum. As far as i know this thread is about rivals. And going through the pages all you seem to talk about is liverpool and what you think about us. Although i must admit a lot of you talk bullsh*t about us 95% of the time which is why i am now involved in the topic.

The big difference is that both United and Atletico had fantastic squads to cope with losing those players, you don't.

Even if it is a thread about rivals, it's still a Chelsea forum, if you have nothing good to say about us then piss off. The reason why we talk about Liverpool so much is because out of all of the clubs in the world, they are most cringe worthy and embarrassing of the lot. You lot act like Liverpool are so f**king special and that they are more than a club, well you're wrong, Liverpool is just another football club like the rest of them. You're nothing special.
August 6, 201411 yr Uncle Ken Shows His Kind Heart LEO Stott’s dream to walk will soon become a reality after his determined family hit their £45,000 fund-raising target in just eight weeks. The final £10,000 came from Radio Yorkshire, a Leeds-based station owned by former Latics chairman Ken Bates.Mr Bates, who was born with a club foot and spent his childhood in leg irons, heard about the Shaw toddler’s plight and decided he had to help.Two-year-old Leo was diagnosed with spastic diaplagia cerebral palsy when he was a year old.The spinal surgery he needs to correct his leg muscles and enable him to walk without braces and a frame is not currently available on the NHS so his family decided to raise the funds themselves.Mr Bates said: “I think Leo is a very special little boy and his family have done so well to raise so much money to help him.“They have never felt sorry for themselves, they have just got on with it. Leo has been raised to believe he can do anything and I believe he absolutely can.“I am appalled that this kind of surgery isn’t funded by the NHS, forcing his family to have to raise the money for themselves and I am delighted that I have been able to help him achieve his dream.”Through the generosity of Oldhamers, Leo raised £35,000 over the last two months thanks to a host of events including head shaves, skydives and bike rides.Football-mad Leo was also Latics mascot at the recent pre-season friendlies at Curzon Ashton and at home to Huddersfield raising over £2,000 for his fund.Leo’s mum Cara Oldham, of Shaw Road, was delighted when she heard from Mr Bates, also former chairman of Leeds United and Chelsea. She said: “I received an amazing phonecall from Mr Bates and his wife Susanna who said they wanted to contribute £10,000. What fantastic people. We are beyond grateful. The spinal operation, which will be carried out at Leeds Hospital, will release the tightness in his muscles allowing him to walk unaided and live a much more active life.Anyone wanting to contribute to Leo’s fund can visit www.justgiving.com/leosdreamtowalk. http://oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/8/news-headlines/87295/a-very-special-little-boy

You lot act like Liverpool are so f**king special and that they are more than a club, well you're wrong, Liverpool is just another football club like the rest of them. You're nothing special. We are special 18 league titles and 5 european cups. And you want me to talk about chelsea i will. A decade ago you were a small midtable club with no vision and were 'just another team' like aston villa. A decade from now you will return to that mediocre team after abramovich has finished his monopoly game. Also your lucky players are mercenaries these days or nobody would give you a second look. Take away the money and your left with a medicore club with a small fanbase and your rivals would be fulham in an intense london derby. You also have a poor academy and produce very little if any decent players and unless you get lucky with another moneybag after abramovich i feel sorry for you.
August 6, 201411 yr At least man city have a vision and have created one of the best academies in the world as they know these owners wont last forever. Once the sheikhs leave, city will produce bucketloads of talent. If abramovich leaves you will return to mediocrity. This is a fact, as a wise spanish man once said.
August 6, 201411 yr And how many of those league titles have you been alive to see? Making history not living in it.
August 6, 201411 yr Holy sh*t he's wheeled out all the cliches and then said why city is different. Pray tell who city's great academy products are.
