Goal scoring is hardly his strongest point either. He is one of the best link up forwards in the world. Madrid don't even have a proper back up for him and readily sold the likes of Higuain and Morata. I think that tells you something.

You are absolutely right that stats don't tell the whole story with Benzema. We can at least agree on that.

I think Ramos did that on purpose, he is that kind of player, he does it a lot.

He is but I don't think he did, players can't be expected to leap with their arms at their side. Of course we haven't really had the benefit of multiple replays.
