The forum, especially the N&D Thread is much better with oppo fans. You get the odd WUM but the two united fans that just joined seem alright, kinkladze is a good poster and Spudulike is arguably the best poster on theshedend full stop!

ok i agree but mrskyblue can jog on.

Admittedly I don't remember him as well as the more recent posters like Kinkladze and that Everton forum guy, but I recall MrSkyBlue being a decent poster too.

I would say the majority of the opposition fans who come on here and turn out to be w**kers are Arsenal or Liverpool fans (but that might just be because there are more of them than most other teams). I've never seen a decent QPR fan on the forum either, I wonder where they're hiding...

Papers saying City are interested in Rafa Benitez as an interim manager for a year until they can get Pep Guardiola. Two things they obviously want Rafa in th hope he'd advance them in Europe and do they know for sure they'd get Guardiola? I'm not convinced. If they want Benitez then fine for me.

I would be happy if they get either, but that's not likely. Pep will not do it in the Premier League, he will not get that patience to build a side, our media and public when it comes to football are the worst also, Pep wouldn't be cut out for that. Benitez, I don't think I need to say more.

Ancelotti it is by the looks of things, that's if Real Madrid fail to win CL or PL this year, they would be good under him but not in the long term. As for Simeone, I would definitely fear them if they got him.

I welcome the oppo fans.

There are some excellent ones like Spud (top of the pack) and Kinkladze.

But then you get some total bellends like BJ, who hasn't popped his head in for a while. I'm fully expecting him to any day now, since United are in "scintillating" form, i.e. finally realising that using the players Moysie bought (Mata, Fellaini) instead of the overpaid dross like Di Maria and Falcao, is winning them games.

I think you're getting mixed up with SkyBlue and BJ, those two manc fans are terrible, they'll only be on here when they are doing well. Surprised I haven't seen BJ lately.

Kink however has always been spot on from the start for me, he's pessimistic but I can't say he wasn't exactly wrong, I am surprised with how sh*t City have been this season, he doesn't seem surprised at all.

I thought the whole point of a BJ was to pop your head in.

That foreign Arsenal fan (Red and White) was hilarious.

Kind of wish he was still here.

The title is between us and arsenal, the prophet was right all along. He was just a man before his time  :laugh2:

Also some heavy bitterness from the City fans as of late, footage of a large group of fans singing the munich disaster song after the United game.

And the Man City ladies player can't remember her name had a picture of her and Van Gaal and she had to take it down and apologise to all the City fans who were blasting her on Twitter... Unbelievable that. Only ones who have to apologise for that is the cretins who were abusing her in the first place.

MRSKYBLUE

Chelsea are a very strong side who can quite possibly turn us over in which there would be no shame. But at home we are more than capable of beating anybody. Citys spine of Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva, Aguero only managed 5 starts together last season without one or more of them being injured... We averaged 5-0 a game in those matches, we still won the league without that spine in tact. Just goes to show the depth we had the... We're even stronger now. Keep those 5 fit and no other side has anything close to that kind of strength. The media have been all over Chelsea declaring them favourites because they have finally bought a striker (Options aren't so great if he gets an injury or goes off the boil, but let's overlook that one shall we    ) where as City have just quietly got on with their business, strengthening in key positions with quality players.

We've gone under the radar which is amusing and pleasing in equal measure. Liverpool blustered for 30 mins last night without really doing anything, then we pulled them apart without ever getting out of 2nd gear. We haven't even warmed up yet, by the time we meet Chelsea at the Etihad in a couple of games time, the machine will be just about ready to roar!

If they got Benitez - lol. He's doing a poor job at Napoli, I can't see that they'd be looking at him.

I dont City need Ancelotti. He's an excellent coach, knows the PL obvs and would certainly improve them in Europe. But City need someone who is good at rebuilding teams/squads which isn't something Ancelotti is particularly good at IMO. I'm sure he'd be able to get more out of that ageing team than Pellegrini, but I think more important for City will be starting over next year.

In this regard, I think Klopp might be a better fit. But you have to question whether he's really all that either, given how poor Dortmund were earlier this year season.

Simeone would be the one if it was me, but he's just signed a new deal and apparently his style of football is too pragmatic for them.

So there doesn't seem to be any obvious candidate. I wonder, perhaps Pellegrini might stay by default? Ultimately, Guardiola is the guy they want, and his contract will run out at the end of next year...

I'm flattered with the comments above, I honestly have found this place more welcoming than bluemoon and obviously redcafe where I did make an account but decided to not post any longer since I realized it was like an Israeli posting on a Palestinian forum Lol

I actually came here to tell you about fresh Raheem Sterling allegations, More pictures of him smoking the shisha pipe uploaded by the mail online but this time he's not alone, Jordan Ibe is pictured with him, Where's the scathing attacks on Rodgers and Liverpool for having such a badly run set up behind the scenes? I remember they labelled us a circus when Balotelli and Mancini were fighting amongst' each other.

How can you have Balotelli on instagram posting death threat videos to his critics where he literally tells them to shut the f up speaking about him, You have Jordan Ibe and Sterling smoking shisha pipes, Stevie G midseason signing a contract with another club, What a mess.

Woah!!! I'm not by a long shot. My football knowledge is not up to scratch when compared to that of lots of posters.

This is a great site and I'm grateful that us outsiders are tolerated, tbh. It's a rare thing and much to the credit of the site.

A shisha pipe?

It's a slippery slope to sugary drinks and staying out after dark.

If you look at these news pictures you'll see that he has a Fanta (with a straw!) in front of him. So I'm afraid it's too late.

Still think it's a bit stupid to do even if it isn't illegal. The pipe that is, apparently it's like inhaling 100 cigarettes or something according to the article. f**k knows.

my bad, i apologize.

the true test will be next season if we fail to repeat, ill be watching you like a school headmaster, lulz

That foreign Arsenal fan (Red and White) was hilarious.

Kind of wish he was still here.

He was a decent bloke. His posts were 'we play Utd. We will win, 6-0'.

When people disagreed, he just said '6-0; Arsenal are brilliant. Wenger is a genuis' etc. You couldn't deny his optimism :-)

Anyone watching the Madrid derby?

I think we'll be in for a good match tonight.

Me, I just turned over to see King Carlo. Man that guy is coooool.

Champions League time, I almost forgot. It's out of my system since we went out.

Doesn't feel very international, with two Madrid teams, but let's give it a go. See if we can pick a favourite dive :-)
