FIFA 15

FIFA online is horrible becuase everyone goes Madrid and uses the same spamming moves.

You would think they would fix the lobbed through ball after years of it being an issue.

I scored a fantastic solo goal with Ramires in Ultimate Team on Monday. I dribbled through his midfield and defence with ease and got about 4 yards from the byline before chipping it over the oncoming keeper.

It was as if Ramires' goal of the season against Man City and Barcelona had a baby.

I was gutted when I went to watch the replay at the end of the match only to find the clip wasn't long enough to show the dribble.

Are you on PS4? if so you can press the share button and then the square to save the last 15 minutes of gameplay, you can download an app named ShareFactory which easily let's you edit gameplay. It's a fantastic feature and I've edited all of my best FIFA goals with it.

I'm still on the PS3 unfortunately. [emoji17]

EA nerfed the lob through ball, it's much harder to control and bring down those type of passes compared to previous FIFA's.

True, the lob pass is not the issue as much as before, but as in every FIFA, there's a bunch of other issues, and the ones they fixed for this game will be back a couple years from now, that's EA Sports for you but what are you going to do.

Not so much the lob through ball, but the fact you can literally run around people with Ronaldo and Bale due to their speed and strength is ridiculous.

Which is why every other c**t is playing as them in that stupid black kit.

That side is so lopsided it's ridiculous, you have no hopes of catching either of those players once they get in behind the defense so your best hopes is to sit deeper against them which isn't always as fun.

I haven't touched FIFA in a couple of weeks now, thinking of trading it in as there is a lot of new games coming out now.

Have you tried tracking back with Hazard and Willian? If Bale or Ronaldo get hold of the ball, I make sure I'm controlling either Ramires, Willian or Hazard. They can catch them easy if they're running with the ball.

Difficult if your attack breaks down and they bypass their midfield with a cross field lobbed ball and it's basically a footrace between your fullback and them.

I agree on that, that's a serious issue, but not so much in Kick-off in my opinion, one of my friends is a Real fan and when we play we're usually Chelsea and Real, and I mostly win, only time he gets the ball behind the defense to Ronaldo or Bale is when I make a mistake myself, but in Ultimate Team it's unbearable, exactly why I haven't played Ultimate Team in more than a month and with games like GTA V, AC Unity and more to be acquired, I'm not sure I'll play any Ultimate Team in the near future if at all on FIFA 15, it's a mess!

My seasons record is currently about 55 wins 10 draws 7 losses despite playing Real 9/10 games (and I usually use Chelsea) so it hasn't been a problem, it just gets boring playing the same team using the same tactics over and over and over again.

I can never play more than 2 or 3 games before getting bored of it and turning it off, rethinking whether i'd purchase it again next year unless they change the matchmaking system.

Coming up to the end of my first season on manager career and Cech (who is playing cup games and the odd league game) has shot up to an 89 whilst Tibo is still 86. Weird.

Online matchmaking seems to have improved recently, I'm playing against Madrid less often and getting games against the likes of Dortmund, Brazil and one occasion even Arsenal.

I seem to play against PSG and Manchester United a fair bit I assume because of their their attacking players.

One thing that still really bugs me about FIFA is the rating system. I've assembled a devastating Chelsea side within 3 seasons on management mode, but my defenders and goalkeepers are just not progressing enough. My midfield is exceptional enough to keep possession (on maxed out difficulty with untouched sliders) so the opposition doesn't get behind often.

This means that my defenders don't have much to do besides the occasional sweep when the opposition hoof the ball upfield with long balls (must say, I'm liking the progressive awareness and contextual tactic change of the AI) and even if my keeper makes vital saves at important moments of the game and keeps a clean sheet, they average a 6/10 rating, which affects form.

Again, the emphasis of the rating system is geared towards midfield and attacking players, leaving the spine of the team underdeveloped in comparison.

The game is much nicer to look at, with the pitch degradation and dirty kits, and the team sheets thing is a much needed improvement. BUT, the player emotion stuff, which most of the effort went into this year, is barely noticeable. They should have spent more time improving the core gameplay and making career mode something other than a clone of the last two years titles. The global market system is still a pile of sh*te.

Its a good game, but it still feels like a fifa 13 update...

I don't like how players like Chalobah and Kalas are not considered Chelsea players out on loan.

Given up on the game now and trading it in today.

The game for the most part doesn't reward patient build up and trying to play football, it's all about flukey balls over the top and hoping you win a foot race.

I won't lie, my gaming rage is at its worst playing games like FIFA online.

Because it's 1v1 all the games faults and issues become really apparent such the poor AI on defenders when they part like the red sea and allow for attackers to have miles of space to run into.

I haven't played a Pro Evo game in over 10 years, a Playstation 2 version I used to play around a friends house... I don't think I'll be going back to it after all this time.

Playing on world class at the moment and defending is absolutely infuriating, can guarantee that at least half a dozen times every game the opposition will slip a perfectly weighted through ball that puts in the attacker one-on-one against your GK (and they'll usually convert), no matter who you have back in defence.

I must agree, Online play is sh*t this year, I gave FUT a chance because I loved it to death on FIFA 13, but this year it's hopeless, I've given up on it and am waiting for next year to give it another go.

Until then I'm playing Career mode, started a Chelsea one and am currenty in my second season. And ofcourse the odd kick-off with the lads, and pro clubs, still loving pro clubs.

As far as my career mode goes, it's taken quite a few interesting turns here and there.

The very first august I started, Hazard said he wanted to leave and the club sold him to Bayern, well sh*t, bought Draxler to replace him who was sh*t the whole season and sold him the next summer. Also sold Remy in my second summer and brought in Berahino, Brown is developing nicely and those three are my strikers right now.

Schürrle, Oscar and Willian make up the 3 in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Julian Green(the young american) and Salah providing cover in their absence, Schürrle is quite a beast and a fitting replacement for Hazard which surprised me at first. Moses is also in the squad.

Still got Fabregas and Matic, still have Ramires in the squad, have added Verratti(who I'll be selling soon), Van Ginkel is in there, and bought Saul from Barca for 3 or so million, he has developed into a 79 rated DM in one season and is only 20.

In defense I have Cesar, Filipe and a young spanish left-back Jose Gaya, got him from valencia for Ake and a few mil. Ivanovic still in his prime on the right. Cahill and Terry are the starting centre-backs but with Terry 34 he needs quite a bit of rest so Zouma is getting a lot of playing time. 4th centre-back is Klavan who I bought from Augsburg for the odd million. Need a good centre-back once Terry retires but have no idea who to get yet.
