FIFA 15

Featured Replies

What;s Fifa 15 on the PS3 like? And do many people play the online? Fifa 14 only has about 300-350 people doing pro clubs nowadays.

I've got Fifa 15 on ps3

It's absolutely terrible compared to PS4 but still better than Fifa 14 (14 was dire)

I've barely touched it as I've got too much uni work

But I do find games online almost instantly when I do play

There is no pro clubs on PS3 btw

Yo guys!

Does any of you play Pro Clubs with a bunch of Chelsea friends?

I am asking, because we at OnlineArsenal are playing Pro Clubs against different forums. We played a best of 5 against Redcafe the other night and would like to continue against other Club's forums.

Let me know if you have 5/6 players available to play a best of 5 one day if you fancy.

Thanks. :)

Seems like a good plan

What console would it be on?

I haven't played it on a PS4 or Xbox one but it's much better than FIFA 14 and there were around 300k online and I always find a game online and im on division 4 at the moment in seasons.

90% of us play it on PS4... hope you guys do too :)

Most people on this forum who play Fifa do so on PS4 (judging by the posts anyway)

Unfortunately, I don't have next gen but I'm sure there will be people willing to play

Most people here don't play pro clubs either. Would probably struggle to find 5.

Pro Clubs is all I play really and it sounds like a great idea but I don't have a next gen console yet.

Ah that's good to read! A shame you won't be able to join in mate.

Well, the games we played against redcafe were arguably the most fun I have had in any game on the PS4 so far.

It just adds a bit more of a challenge to beat your rivals from another club's forum and there was a lot of banter when we played those games.

Let's try and organise a couple of games. Even if you can't get 5 together, maybe 4 will is possible. :P

I'm surprised how many people batter FUT on here, if you're a good enough player you can win most of your games, there are some matchmaking problems but those have always been there in my opinion, I have a decent team and am currently in divison 5 after 7 seasons, you start in divison 10, so I'm doing fairly well, It's been made much more difficult to reach divison 1 which I like, because in FIFA 13 you started in Divison 5 and I was in Divison 1 in about 2 weeks after buying the game, it's now much more challenging and I like it, there are quite a few who try to abuse pace and simply run down the wings, and I agree, complete bar stewards, but I find it's rather easy to defend against them if you have defenders with pace over 75, which I do. And generally these kind of people can't defend for sh*t or play for sh*t for that matter, so scoring against them is rather simple.

That said, haven't played fifa in 2 weeks as I got a copy of Assassins Creed Black Flag, completely absorbed by it, haven't played AC before and now I just want to play every game that's been made, including buying AC Unity.

Going off topic here however ...

Assassin Creed 1 was just a massive let down

But, Assassin Creed 2 was brilliant imo - one of the best games I've played (well was at the time)

Brotherhood was too similar to 2

And I've not played the rest even though I've got Revelations and 3

The thing with AC, it can become very repetitive at times and that's just annoying

Would recommend the 2nd one

Maybe catch up with the story line on Youtube

Once I complete Black Flag I'll probably acquire Unity, and then one day catch up with the old ones, I think I must get a controller for my PC as the old AC's aren't for PS4 and I'm not willing to buy a PS3 simply to play the old AC ones, yet I refuse to play with a keyboard.

IGN Playstation 4 app has a thing up on there at the moment, "Assassins Creed in 5 minutes", gives a nice recap of the story line from all the games so far.... In about 5 minutes funnily enough.

The pace whores aren't much of an issue once you get to the top 5 divisions when most players are capable of defending them. My problem with FIFA 15 is that the refs are worse than the refs in real life but I guess EA can just say they are making the game realistic.

Trading this in.

Won't touch it now PES is back to its best.

I've always been a PES guy from PES 3-PES2013.

Because PES wasn't out on the PS4 I decided to buy FIFA 14 which was actually not bad.

However IMO, the gameplay on FIFA 15 is epic and rivals any PES game I've ever played. What I don't like about FIFA 15 however is:

1: Conceding 90th min goals. This happens far to regular even when I try and focus not to concede. It just keeps happening.

2: Scoring a goal and conceding straight from kick off.

3: My defenders running into eachother leaving the oppenent with a clear sight of goal.

4: FUT not recording my wins. On the main FIFA menu it says I have 12 points in division 3. However, when I click onto FUT online , it says I only have 6 points, meaning two of my wins have not been recorded. What a bummer.

5: player prices are too high. You don't earn enough money per game and there is no way I can see myself ever affording someone like Aguero or Hazard.

Conceding straight from kick-off is a problem this year, but the odd glitch is as expected since we're dealing with EA Sports here.

And as far as affording Agüero or Hazard, the only way you can afford them is to spend money on packs, how much depends on your luck, if you're lucky you will get a 300K player out of your first 20 packs which cost about the same amount of euros, but if not then you may have to spend up to 100 or more euros on packs to get someone decent.

I played a lot of FUT when FIFA came out and spent a total of 60 euros on packs, I made about a total of 80K coins from discarding the things I didn't need, best player I got was De Gea who cost 15K, but haven't played FUT in about a month now and most certainly will not spend any more money on Fifa this year, I hope next year will be better.

Another problem, and the most massive with this year's fifa, the AI is one of the worst in recent years.

Anyone else having problems with the EA servers? Of the losses I've recorded online, over half have been due to dropping connection. My IP is static (I went through all the steps to manually forward the ports and so on), NAT is set to open, but still every 2 or 3 games my connection to the servers drops out. Very frustrating!

2: Scoring a goal and conceding straight from kick off.

Too easy to run past half the team from kick offs.

Because most sides line up with something like 4-2-3-1, the most forward four of team are all crowded around the centre circle and so straight from kick off their basically in front of the ball, then the attacking side only has a holding midfielder and defender to beat for a straight run at goal.... I've started selected my centre forward before kick offs and moving him into a defensive midfield position to create more of a wall.

Like most previous FIFA games there is a lot of cheap tricks and tactics that can be used.

I score virtually every kick off I have with either Willian or Hazard, it's top lol.

Especially when i've conceded from some sweaty lob through ball to Ronaldo and they do a big celebration.

The #1 problem with FIFA 15 is that 9/10 games no matter who I play with, I get drawn against Real Madrid. Even with 4 star teams I get drawn with Real Madrid.

They should do it like the NBA 2K series where you get matched up with your opponent, then you pick your teams and you can see what the other person is picking before confirming the game.
