This might be the first time in a while where there's a big match and both teams absolutely despise the ref for being an absolute c-nt, He has it in for us but judging by some of the comments he seems to have it in for you lot as well. I fully expect 6 stone wall penalties not to be given, Three to each side, I fully expect Ivanovic and Aguero to be both sent off for diving and I fully expect the winner of this match to have to score a 40 yard screamer or else Clattenburg will deem the goal to be offside in some sort of way, I also expect to seem him slide onto his knees at full time when the game has finished 0-0 and to take off his shirt in celebration and reveal a message from Howard Webb 'Haha you both suck ps UNITED RULE AND CAN STILL WIN THE TITLE'.

Think that game against Liverpool has just had a negative effect on this City game now.  Looks like Cesc collided with Terry and soon after had to come off, and if I'm not mistaken that yellow for Oscar means that he's banned for the game too.

 

So, for discussion's sake, lets say both are out.  I think that forces Mikel and Matic and Ramires to be the midfield three, with Hazard and WIllian on the wings with Costa up front.

 

I'd also like to see Azpi and Zouma start.  So for me, the way it's looking right now it'll be:

This is the game where Ramires makes his barnstorming comeback.

 

The sparks are going to fly with one player, most likely one of City's defensive midfielders, getting an early bath.

Looks like the sky campaign to get Costa banned is in full force and we may have lost Cesc and Luis for this game too.

Add to that the likely return of toure and bony for the game and city fans can stop complaining that they always have the rough end of missing players against us.

Gonna be hard to avoid defeat missing two of our most key players and them being back to full strength.

Why is it likely that bony and toure are back for it ? They are one of the favourites for ACON and all they have to do is avoid defeat to make the final.
