Amateurish.

How so? Why should we sit back and let people like Souness and Caragher criticise us on TV and in the papers to millions of people, when they are such hypocrites?

Edited by Zeta Orionis

Not sure what the purpose of the official instagram account is but it comes across as a bit unprofessional to me. Jose made his point and we could all think of clear examples without having this being posted.

Amateurish.

We'll get backlash regardless of what we do so why not play some people at their own game?

What do we have to lose, our own fans for the most part will lap this sort of retort up.

Is any hatred or backslash we get from it going to be any worse than coverage calling us a disgrace or whatever? No.

Might as well just have some fun with it.

If the scousers or united stooped to this level we'd be taking the piss out of them for being so petty.

Either ignore it or refute it intelligently.

But the point isn't to actually have a debate about it, it's too distract from the sh*t performance we served up on Wednesday.

I was surprised when scrolling through my instagram, but I found it funny. Ultimately, if the media want to attack CFC then Jose and the Club are entitled to defend themselves. The picture highlights some funny hypocrisy and doesn't hurt anyone so does its job really.

The trial by media pendulum is swinging ! :)

Imagine! We can cite many examples from many teams; the anti Chelsea brigade can only cite us. If they did offer non Chelsea examples, they'd be diluting their own argument. Love it.

Who exactly are we playing and at what game? Sorry but this is bizarre behaviour by the club.

The biggest sports broadcaster in the country is in a strong position to dictate the narrative of how clubs and incidents are viewed by the public. Carjacker calls us a disgrace and Sourness called our conduct "Un-British".

With two simple pictures we've effectively stuck two fingers up to them and Sky, stuck our tongues out and blown a massive raspberry at them all.

Is it childish, probably? Should we care? No. Should we enjoy it and have s little giggle at it. Definitely.

Maybe José could go on sky and refute them. Would they let him?

Or maybe one of their own pundits could refute their points. Someone like Neville perhaps.

As it is we've posted a couple of images out of context to continue a silly argument that José only engaged in so that he didn't have to actually talk about how Blanc out-coached him.

So yeah, it's very much of the playground hence me calling it amateurish. But it'll please plenty of the people who engage in this type of banter on social media already.

In other circumstances one may consider it childish, but all adults know the role of social media and to ignore it, not engage with it, not use it as others are would be child-like naivety.

Amateurish.

My thoughts entirely.

It's funny, but who on earth authorised that?!!

Sometimes we should just leave it alone.

Jose in his press conference admitted PSG deserved to win, he's not denied that at all.

He's said we're out, we have to recover and look forward not back.

No grumbles, no deflecting, no issues.

Not for the first time this season the Sky team have been overly scathing in their assessment of our team and we're having some fun with throwing some digs back at them.

To borrow a popular Sky related phrase "just banter".

I think it's a bit if fun as a Chelsea fan and I'm sure many agree. Long may it continue.

Up the Chels!

Exactly, banter, that is all it is. I don't see the big deal to be honest.

I'd be surprised if it isn't removed soon. Just bizarre use of social media by an organisation like ours.

If the scousers did the same then we'd call them pathetic and desperate.

But yeah, it's all el banterino with the lads innit.

Small minded rising to it .... Ill advised I think... Could have been done through a player even....

Indeed, social media for the mass of a certain age is part of life. If it's not banter and an attempt to confront media bias, media bullying then fair enough. I have a sense of Jose and the club, gloves off, saying enough is enough. I know who my money's on.

I don't think the accounts should ever go out to abuse another side but they should be free to respond to claims made by others about the club. I like this particular one, shows those on the accounts are actual Chelsea fans instead of emotionless robots posting one line quotes by the players in interviews

well at least to some of us it's a club to others it's an organization, there's nothing wrong using that sort of evidence to defend your club, particularly when carjacker himself said he never did that, now he's been proved a liar, he may stop and think twice before talking bollocks about our organization  sorry CLUB!
