Davey Baby: "Stevie G - I adore him, I want to bear his children"

JT won't get the media f**k fest that Stevie Me has though.

Who gives a f**k? I'm talking about the connection between those supporters and that man.

It's nice to see in modern football.

Of course it is but I'm glad JT won't make it all about him like Stevie Me did. The w**kfest from Sky has been nauseating.

As some of us, to coin a current popular phrase on these parts, are armchair supporters the only way we can view games and gather opinions is from television. I'd like to hear an insightful analysis of the game, not have to listen to the nauseating tribute spewing out of Sky Sports.

To be honest I was going to stay at home and watch it on tv but I didn't think Sky would give the occasion the recognition it merited.

Only paid £3672 for my ticket.

Result.

Graham you were right about my wheels.

Looks like I'm walking home.

Alone.

Davey have a lamp for mine up there, 18" magnesium rims.

OK 13" steel from a micra but you're welcome to them, missing from NW London since 1989 the feckers

I respect Steven a lot, putting aside all the stick he's been getting these last couple years he's not only been a great servant to Liverpool but a tremendous servant for the premier league. He's going to be irreplaceable for Liverpool and their fans and I'm sure they'll sing about him forever, he's literally symbolized the club and raised the reputation of Liverpool for their fans and he's provided world class memories such as Istanbul for the footballing neutral as well as his beloved club. Top bloke, top captain too; he's led by example and he's a role model for many of the Liverpool academy players! He has three adorable daughters as well!

All the best to him at L.A!

I've enquired about them but the locals tell me it's a long time since they've seen such a luxury vehicle.

I'll keep looking.

Brilliant. This must be thread of the year, surely?

Nearly as good as the Jose v Rafa one when TGO returned.

Funny story I was up in goodison park the night we bet them in the league cup semi final. Me and my mates went for a beer and I went out the front of the pub for a ciggie when right in front of me was two young scallies getting pulled out of a stolen car by the police. That was my first trip to liverpool for football and it certainly lived up to the reputation of carjackers. Lol. Good city center to be fair.

Fair play mate, personally I don't agree.

The Istanbul game was bizarre, and maybe not dissimilar to Munich for us. His finest hour.

I just find this mediafest nauseating. Just look at the Lampard/Gerrard stats, and Lampard hardly gets a mention. Maybe the Lampard/Gerrard thing is what makes some of us Chelsea fans feel differently? Gerrard was never an either/or with Scholes.

Rough area to be fair. City centre is great, as you say
