I think if they'd lost then people would have been all over Pellegrini, but as it is I think he's been vindicated to a certain extent. In financial terms he almost certainly has.

 

The surprising thing for me since Sunday though, has been the lack of any real uproar or discussion. I thought there'd be more chatter about it, more articles about it's future and a small part of me thought the FA might charge him with something. Disrepute maybe?

 

As it is, it's all just been accepted which suggests to me that the FA Cup is perhaps beyond saving, or at least the will to save it is dissipating. I wasn't expecting that.

He's actually a sexual predator. His defence has tried to depict him as being dumb and spoilt, but it's not his fault apparently, it's football's for spoiling him!

We know how average Kiev are after playing them twice in group stage when we were really sh*t and in the mire...they didn't come close to beating us in either game and that was when they were fully fit/in shape, unlike last night when it was their first match for weeks...city would have walked this tie even if they had played a stronger team against us and it baffles me that they sacrificed the fa cup for it...if they were playing a barca/Bayern, even a PSG, I'd understand...but Kiev?

No , the forensic phone evidence was complex and was placing him where he said he wasn't. He said there wasn't time, the prosecution tried to show there was. To be honest he lied so much it's hard to keep track.

Don't think they need "proof" tbh, the jury will decide who's account is the more believable in the context of everything.

From what we are getting told in the media it looks bleak for Johnston but then we don't get to hear all the evidence just the snippets that are allowed to be reported.
