February 25, 201610 yr Spurs beat a classy, tactically aware and good Fiorentina side 3-0, Fair play, Liverpool beat Augsburg who are very good away from home 1-0, Fair play, United beat the dog and duck b team 5-1, P-iss off. Edited February 25, 201610 yr by Kinkladze1871
February 25, 201610 yr Martial injured in the war-up against Midjjdjdkjkdjslland. Some unknown youngster is playing in his place. Surely Utd will lose this? Glad to see the topic has gone back to football again......My mistake I thought it had and then in later posts up crops a certain court case again. I think that case is worthy of debate and comment but I have to genuinely ask is this the right thread to do that in ?

If we win the FA Cup and get into Europa, I wouldn't be the least bit embarrassed about playing there instead of the Champions League, and if a player leaves because he'd be in Europa rather than Champions League for one year, f**k them. By the way, did you hear that the FA disobeyed UEFA rules about not scheduling any games on Champions League nights? Bravo! It's about time someone stand up to UEFA. February 26, 201610 yr I see Deli Ali is the new super kid on the block. Reminds me of Barkley a few years ago. Wonder how long Spuds will hold onto him if he keeps improving again next season?
February 26, 201610 yr Oxlade Chamberlain out through injury, could be interesting, but Wenger is invincible isn't he?
February 26, 201610 yr Martial injured in the war-up against Midjjdjdkjkdjslland. Some unknown youngster is playing in his place. Surely Utd will lose this? So the unknown youngster is not unknown anymore and grabs all the headlines. Good that he got his chance and took it so well. Utd fans will now have the dilemma we had. Take Mourinho and the better odds of winning a trophy or two but at the same time kiss goodbye to any 18 year olds breaking into the first team.
February 26, 201610 yr Anyone who likes to criticise French/Spanish/Italian/South American (etc.) players for diving would do well to burn into their brains the image of English lion Oxlade-Chamberlain rolling around absurdly after the Mascherano challenge. Shame on you Plokks - turns out to be a serious injury!! At the time, I have to say I thought it looked bad as it was a heavy impact and both players were travelling at speed. Sure, the rolling around always looks naff and makes you question how bad it is but you could see he was in pain. Begs the question WHY did Wenger allow him back out in the second half (and they wonder why they have so many injuries)?!!!
February 26, 201610 yr Mourinho played an 18 year old in a champions league final. Good for him - why did he stop there.
February 26, 201610 yr He played an 18 year old (Balotelli) 31 times in all competitions while he was at Inter. Just playin with ya Nibs. Edited February 26, 201610 yr by Stim
February 26, 201610 yr United vs Liverpool in the EL. I actually think it's bad luck, it's a big game but bad luck because in my opinion we need as many English teams as we can to reach the finals. Already at this stage, one team from England is going home. Edited February 26, 201610 yr by IliyaKrostin
February 26, 201610 yr I actually was hoping for United vs Liverpool but as a semi final rather than a last 16 tie.
February 26, 201610 yr If spuds or city somehow manage to win a European trophy, does 5th place qualify for champions league? We're only 8 points off 5th, so it's not an impossible task to finish 5th, albeit a difficult one.
February 26, 201610 yr Nice draws here but yeah United vs Pool is too soon, a QF or SF knockout is more of a nut puncher

February 26, 201610 yr Didn't want to include us in that list? Obviously not, because I already know if we win, we will automatically qualify, since that's how we qualified in 2012. Just checked and it would mean a 5th place team would qualify for the champions league playoffs. It would be ironic if spurs won the europa league and we finished 5th, they would be helping us qualify, compared to when we stopped them qualifying in 2012!

February 26, 201610 yr Anyone following th FIFA elections? The favourite Salman Sheikh looks well dodgy and there were rumours of his dodgy dealings yesterday. FIFA could get (even) worse. Prince Ali seems like the only decent one and is campaigning for a fair and open process.
