I don't mean to sound defeatist so early in the season but i can't see anyone touching City this season. We look awful at the moment, Arsenal don't have the bottle, Man United are too inconsistent and Liverpool don't have the quality. I can see City running away with it before the competition really get going.

It's early days but I agree, City look head and shoulders above everybody else at the moment.

I've watched Man Utd a few times already this season and apart front their European game against Brugge, Rooney has had 2 or 3 shots at goal the entire time. He's awful.

Memphis looks garbage too. He has everything required to be great, just wanders about though and rarely tries to beat his man.

Gomis is absolutely fantastic. So are Swansea though. An outstanding team to watch.

Enjoy watching Swansea and I have a lot of time for Gary Monk.

so much for "rooney's back" and "depay the next ronaldo"

#clubbrugge

Imho Rooney is approaching his use by date, he's not good against proper opposition lately.

Just so the score and haha. Swansea gonna be a pain this season. Looks like man city are going to have no competition this season for the title, bit like us last season.

Rooney is fine against diddies like Brugge.

His movement is brutal though and against players like Ashley Williams, who is seriously underrated, he struggles big time.

can we say they don't deserve it if they win it? Considering no competition n all.

Man Utd have spent an astronomical amount of money in the last year and still have a lot of garbage.

Romero looks awful. Blind and Smalling are weak. Darmian looks at are though and Shaw looks fitter, finally.

Ashley Young and Rooney are brutal too and don't get me started on their other 'striker' Fellaini.

I thought he would struggle this year. Hes played over 500 games now and thats a whole career in itself. I'm glad we never signed him 2 seasons ago.

Rooney's miss sums up why professional football players need to practice far more with their weaker foot. It should not be acceptable for a top striker to miss a chance purely because they were taking too long trying to get it onto their stronger foot, meaning they were tackled as we just saw with Rooney and Williams. Unacceptable for professional footballers.

A goal down. 15 minutes left and Javier Hernandez on the bench. LVG brings on Fellaini up front instead. LVG will be under fire shortly - he's absolutely brutal.

Been a great weekend for city. Sign KdB, go 5 clear of United, Liverpool and stay 5 clear of arsenal, as well as go 8 clear of us.

Shame they started so well as the top four otherwise is an interesting mix.

Four games in and already starting to look like city's title to lose...ourselves, arse, Liverpool and Utd just don't look good enough to challenge them...still hope we get our arses in gear, but fear by the time we do, we will have left ourselves too much ground to make up

Hope I'm wrong but I can see City winning this league by a lot of points this year.

Otamendi can't even get in their team as Mangala is starting to adjust to the league.

Zabaletta, Oramendi, Nasri, Bony, Clichy, Delph, Demichellis and Fernando are all good players who aren't in the first team at the moment either through injury or back up.

Oh well...Champions League it is then! :-)
