I can't make my mind up about this one. I really like pedro but I think Willian really stepped up towards the end of last year and will only get better this year.

I don't think Pedro would’be been brought in as an upgrade on Willian but as an alternative to Hazard and Willian if either needed a rest or got injured. Last season they were forced to play practically every game. In hindsight we were probably lucky we got knocked out of two cup competitions early otherwise we didn't have too many options especially given that Cuadrado was plain awful when he got to play.

I hope you're joking. Have you watched Pedro play? The only reason he's not a starter is because he has the likes of Neymar and Suarez in front of him. Going forward Pedro is easily better than any of our attacking midfielders/wingers apart from Hazard.

Moses was arguably the best player against PSG. He should at least be in contention for a squad place imo

He stops so many attacks coming at us that he's invaluable as far as I'm concerned. I would live us to get Pedro mind but I'd rather find a way to keep Willian in the side. Unfortunately I think he's United hound, we really should be pulling out all the stops to get him.

I watched the game, nothing special from him. But it was a friendly match, all Barcelona were look bad.

 

 

Anyways, about him in general. I'm not his big fan, and now when we have Moses and Traore in good form, we won't need Pedro. He's better finisher than Willian, but Willian gives more to the team, I don't think we have the right spot for him. 

Pedro does plenty of defensive work, his pressing game is pretty good, he may not have Willian's work rate, but he's no slouch.

True but he'd probably score and assists goals , something Willian doesn't currently do.

Either way it's just another top player to pick from meaning we don't rely on the same XI so it would work either way. Doesn't look like its a goer anymore though.

I do agree with that which is why I'd live for us to sign Pedro, we need options, players who offer different things.

Not sure we are after him. We've got many player for that position albeit not our strongest position. Moses looked good but not sure we will even keep him.

Why not? If he's able to press and close down, then he can for sure mark the opposing fullback.

To be fair Moses played pretty well against PSG he looks like he might be of some use after all.

According to Tancredi Palmeri, United have agreed a 23mil figure for Pedro. Not much left before they finalize this deal.

If United also sign Pedro, the title is pretty much theirs to take. If they don't win it next season, LVG is a joke.
