Apparently we almost signed him in January but opted for Cuadrado instead as he wasn't cup tied for the Champions League.

Walcott is not good enough to displace Willian or Oscar. I would prefer Chamberlain, he is better than Walcott

 

Not that it matters but Walcott is a definitely a better player than Willian.

Saying Willian would walk into the worst England side in my living memory is a backhanded compliment. 

 

Walcott's numbers for Arsenal are brilliant despite all of his injuries, he contributes a goal or assist once every 2 games I believe. Willian I think is something like a goal or assist once every 5.5 games for Chelsea. 

Stats are really deceiving, You would think De bruyne is a better player than Iniesta judging by stats. Walcott lacks ball control and technique

It was only last night Sky said he had agreed personal terms with United.

But he's really good at scoring and assisting goals. 

 

End of the day it doesn't matter how graceful or technically brilliant he is or isn't point is he's good at influencing the out come of games.

don't believe everything you read, people. I thought people had learnt their lessons by now from reading into rumours so much. i personally don't think pedro is what we need, but for just over 20 million it is certainly a bargain. I think we really need a CM more than anything, so i am hoping we'll go back in for witsel or a player or similar ilk.

All we seem to be linked with is attacking players and of course Stones, I can't see us going in for a central midfielder.

The things he always gets praised for are the kind of skill set I would look for in a central midfielder rather than a player who spends the majority of the game in the final third. 

 

He's a bit of an enigma to me. He's not a bad player in the way we speak about the Torres', Sutton's and Cuadrado's but for me he's not contributed to the team in the way I would expect someone who plays on the wing to.

apparently we were, but wasn't there reports saying a fee or terms couldn't be agreed upon. i don't know, but a solid CM next to matic is something we crave in big games. ramires is a headless chicken in there, mikel is too unreliable and fab is too light weight and lacks defensive nous.
