You might be right Barak.

The things he always gets praised for are the kind of skill set I would look for in a central midfielder rather than a player who spends the majority of the game in the final third.

He's a bit of an enigma to me. He's not a bad player in the way we speak about the Torres', Sutton's and Cuadrado's but for me he's not contributed to the team in the way I would expect someone who plays on the wing to.

See my post's on him the entire way through his time with us. I genuienly believe he does a job in a central 3 playing probably a bit deeper where he does his best work. It would be nice to start with 3 players infront of him so when he goes rampaging up the pitch he can hand it over to fabregas, and co when he gets in to nose bleed territory

This rumour seems to be based on a Palestinian lad who once upon a time worked for Jazeera sports claiming an agreement has been reached with no apparent source.

As far reliability goes it's pretty shaky.

(or should that be Sheikh-y?)

Pedro Rodríguez is all set to join Chelsea. The Blues and Barça struck a deal on Tuesday night for an initial €28m plus another €2m in add-ons, gazumping Manchester United's offer of €25m up front and up to €5m in extras. Manchester City are understood to have never submitted a formal bid for the pacy wideman/forward.
Pedro is already in London undergoing a medical, having been given permission to do so by Barcelona. An official announcement of the move is expected imminently.

Pedro would be a good signing but just cant help but think we need a little more steel at the back, Get a decent CB or CM, get rid of Cuadrado and we should be satisfied with our transfer window

There is this from Sky Bet

TWO-HORSE RACE?

Pedro had been steadily backed through the night to join Manchester United, with Sky Bet making him 4/6 to end up at Old Trafford, with Chelsea 11/10 shots.

However both clubs are now 10/11 to sign the Barcelona star as this particular race hots up!

And transfer centre

PEDRO JETS TO LONDON

Barcelona forward Pedro flew to London this morning to finalise a move to Chelsea, according to reports in Marca.

And it is understood that the Premier League champions have outbid rivals Manchester United for the Spain international, while the Blues have also reached an agreement with the player to move to Stamford Bridge this season.

That could be huge news and something we will be keeping our eyes on throughout the day, so stay tuned folks!

Yeah we need one more steel in midfield to help matic. If we get stones as well I'd be happy.

well beinsport also reported that guardiola to city is a done deal last season, and marca  reported about diego not happy living in england which both turns out to be complete bollocks

until one of the sky guys confirmed it don't get too excited, but got to admit i'm getting very giddy right now
