Chelsea lodged £22.3 million pound bid for Harry Kane

Featured Replies

Most of the top players in the league last season are struggling to get going this season.

Ah see, the mistake you just made here is that you just referred to Harry Kane as a "top" player.

He is a one season wonder joining the illustrious ranks of Michael Ricketts and Marcus Stewart.

He just looked good in a p*ss poor Spuds team. Amazing how he was kept quiet at Wembley when he was expected to destroy JT et al

Been linked with him today, would love him. Think he's class and a real professional. Only problems are I don't see Levy selling to us and I'm not sure Kane wants to leave Spurs.

Those who said he's a one season wonder, not quite. Tbh only fans I've seen write him off are Arsenal and fellow Chelsea fans. I think it has more to do with who he plays for rather than who he actually is. I knew Kane would be a success again, he has a really good head on his shoulders. A mature mind is often a good one.

It's not gonna happen unless it's for a totally ridiculous sum of money.

Sadly Spuds would rather sell to someone else for £10 million less than sell to Chelsea.

We saw with Modric that no matter what they just wont do business with us and when we swoop in in the last hours and sign guys like Willian under their noses that also adds to the bitterness.

I wish we had the same attitude as them to be honest, we seem perfectly happy to sell our players to rivals, i hate it.

Spurs was about to rid him cheaply before situational need occurred and allowed him to make his mark.. sometimes, it's that chances that is all needed for talent to blossom.. we missed the trick with lukaku and kdb.. bamford seems to be the next fella..

Not even then.

Everyone's got a price. It's just that I don't see us paying the kind of sum for him that would be needed to lure him to Chelsea. Not for any player.

Happens all the time. Remember Francis Jeffers, the new Rooney when he started at Everton
