Was he cr*p today? Yes he was, was he the only one? No. Only Dave was decent, and only decent, from the back four. Zouma was in part at fault for both goals and cahill was sluggish all game.

Matic was rank, he ducked away from a headed chance. That showed a lack of will to win there. No quality from cesc again, he worked hard as did willian. Just no end product.

Pedro? One cracking cross the rest was average. Him and Costa just got in each others way.

Then there is hazard. What the heck has happened to him?

What's hilarious is that we KNOW Jose will pick exactly the same side for the next match. The mind boggles.

If he does that I'll blame solely him next time.

Let's at least think rationally about our results.

- Draw at home to swansea with 10 men, not ideal but decent result considering.

- win away to a tough west brom side with 10 min from 50+ mins onwards, a good 3 points.

- loss to man city away from home at an awkward time with everything shrouding the club. A poor result but it was against a very good city side at their place.

- today was a poor result, but palace are a very good mid table side and will certainly cause problems to other top teams. We were unfortunate with our shots on goal not to cause them more problems, but nothing to worry too much about, these things happen at times during the season.

We will bounce back, but remember it's a long season and so many twists and turns to come. So far we've been unfortunate, but jose does need to sort out that defence asap. Ivan has to be dropped for a fee games, give us the pafe at wing backs and keep cahill/zouma partnership. I wanna see rlc and kenedy given more play time too as they played great when they featured.

I worry for jose though as roman isn't going to be pleased so José does need to pull his finger out and make some changes to personnel.

Next 2 games are tough, need big performances if we're gonna sort out this mess.

The only positives were the subs , Kennedy , RLC and Falcao getting off the mark. Kennedy and RLC offered so much more pace to us.

Dissapointments though was Ivanovic staying on , personally I would off kept Azpi on and moved him to the right.

Hazard looks completely off the boil , its games like this where he should be grabbing the game by the scruff off the neck and pushing us on , he is 24 now not 20.

Jose needs to sort out centre midfield , either drop Fab and move in RLC and bed him in , we are not going to win the league now so start giving him games especially if we are not getting Pogba , or move Fab forward and drop Willian. After get cameo though Kennedy just might take willians place anyway.

Very concerned that ivanovic and fabregas have lost it over the summer... Terry is one thing - he will still be able to play well against certain teams.... But the play From cesc and branislav is very worrying!

Shame we didn't get a point, would have done wonders for falcao's confidence. It is good that he has come on and scored a decent goal.

Also for their winning goal, hazard has reverted back to 2 years ago and put his hands on his hips instead of tracking their attacker who knocked the ball back across the face of goal for the assist...

Positives are the performances of both kenedy and rlc. Who looked hungry and to have quality.

Sadly title is out of our hands now. Is for city to lose. Refocus on getting in to the top four. If we do that and city slip we will see.

- RLC did more than Fabregas in 10 minutes in the central. He didn't lose even one ball, 99% of his passes were to the right leg, he also helped defensively. 

- Kenedy is real talent but he's not defender, I didn't understand why he didn't pick any player on Crystal's second goal but he is really good in attack.

- Zouma man of the match for me, he gave all of him today. 

- Falcao good to see him scoring but he can't even control the ball, Jose has a lot of work to do with him.

 

Crystal Palace were smarter than us, they played on our weak players. Sako made Ivanovic look like a championship defender, Bolasie did the same after. Puncheon did whatever he want on Fabregas. They put more defensive pressing on Pedro than Hazard because Hazard was out of the game. Delaney and Dann simply marked Costa, he couldn't even find a proper way to shoot, also he couldn't really affect because Fabregas didn't even find him properly. 

 

We immediately need to wake up, we are far from being champions. Crystal made us a lesson, as a team we should learn from mistakes and keep supporting. COME ON CHELS, WAKE UP!!!

Disagree with Zouma being man of the match,  he made quite a few mistakes. If I had to pick one, I would go with Cahill as MOTM but really it was a poor peformance all round.

It's hard to say if it's fabregas off form or the target men are not giving him anything. I often see him get the ball, look for movement, but the attacking players are hardly moving, so not much he can do if they aren't working together.

he won't start him, there is zero chance that he'll do it.

The problem here seems to be motivation, we have the players already to win the league. We just need them to play as a team. I understand the desire to buy but ultimately you can buy as many as you like but if you arent motivated to play well as a team it wont work.
