Well i listened to this whilst stuck at work, some of the comments on here were abysmal, fickle as f**k!!!!!.......A definite lack of a spark, but in Jose we trust, just saw Falcaos stunning header, well thats a bonus, the biggest worry is Hazard, i thought in the opening game he looked off the pace, still feel that, Ivan well Dr Time has caught him up very quick, only way now is up the table please..

Almost every fan on here with a brain pointed out Chelsea's weakness middle of last season. Ivan needs to go.

This season, he's not only become worse - he's become a complete bombscare. All the apologists will still be crying 'he's up against amazing players such as Montero' - utter garbage. He needs binned.

Without 2 signings we will be lucky to hit top four. Everyone else in this league has improved and we have regressed big time.

This is PL, not Bundesliga. City won't be playing like that every match, they will sleep and it will give other teams chance to catch up. I can't believe that some of Chelsea fans are already giving up on chances to win PL.

I think we will win with Everton. Perhaps we have to implement more defending style like 2 seasons ago and go for contras?

I don't want it to seem like I have no faith, I don't often write Chelsea off, but I can't honestly see us beating Everton, I hope we do, but is doubtful, a loss and we're probably 11 points behind, even at this stage 11 points would be a big ask, even if City go on a bad run. But we have to keep winning every game until City start to drop points and I can't see it at the moment.

He has a point, 8 points behind even at this stage, it's going to be very difficult, Everton next, has a draw or loss written all over it. City are too strong and we are not good enough, title race is probably over.

8 points? Well we might as well give up then.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen people on here throw in the towel as soon as things look a little difficult, often to be proven wrong.

I wasn't a member in April 2012 but I'm wondering if it was like this back then?

Whats alarming is I still think we have the best squad in the leauge, mind you with citys new signings they are some unit

I've seen people throw in the towel too, I'm sure it happens on a lot of forums, people have knee jerk reactions. I'm not saying let's give up, I'm saying it's a tough ask, that's all, as far as 2012 goes, I wasn't a member then either.

We have quality players but we need that spark and extra motivation. Jose will figure out what is exactly going on and he will adjust out team and style.

No way, he clearly lost the plot. I head the players are petioning Roman to bring back the FSW to save our season.

We don't anymore mate. We have the best manager in the league getting he best out of any squad.

Ivanovic is gone. He's completely past it. Love the big guy to bits but he cannot play right back any more. None of us as Mourinho, yet we pretty much all predicted he would be our downfall this season and Jose continues to pick him. That worries me.

Our midfield issue has not been sorted. Cesc is not defensive and it's giving him a poor reputation with some fans. Two ball winning midfielders behind him will

Reap rewards but again this has been ignored.

I tried to hide

My worry before the season started but I highlighted these points over and over. I'm usually Mr positivity and couldn't feel it this year. It's becoming reality and its brutal.

Wtf. Get rid of Jose in February and bring back Rafa sounds better ? lol ;)

It's going to be a cauldron of an atmosphere at Goodison especially with the John Stones Saga , we really have to play at our peak in my opinion to get anything . I'm not being negative just stating how it is.

I think he was talking about Hazard.

he could have been talking about any of the players that played the full game. no-one did themselves any favours. but fabregas hazard and ivanovic all were very poor compared to what they are capable of

We barely have 34 more matches, no way that's enough to make up for the lost points.

It's mathematically impossible since City are so amazing they're absolutely guaranteed to win all of their matches.

Painful to see we still have Azpi playing left-back when it was only ever supposed to be a temporary measure. And a centre-back playing right-back when that experiment has run its course. And to two slowing centre-backs with only an enthusiastic kid in Zouma for cover.

We still don't have a solution to a midfield without Lampard or a partner for Matic.

We still can't get behind defences and are crazily over dependant on Hazard to do everything: to beat everyone, to assist and to score and to defend as well. No wonder he looks fed up.

Stones and Pogba would be a start. And it shows we know where part of the problem is. Thing is we might end up with neither by the looks of things and we don't appear to have any contingency plans.

That would be complacent bordering on negligent.

90 points is about what you need for the title. Total possible points is 114. So we have already dropped 1/3rd of the points we can drop all season. Yeah we cant be wrote off, but my god is this a terrible start!!

Just got home from the game, not had a chance to read the thread but here's my take on the game.

Utter crap.

I fear most of the focus will be on the defence but our biggest problem is how bad we are at keeping hold of the ball (except when our centre backs endlessly pass between themselves) and our lack of intensity/cutting edge in the final third.

Only positives out of today were RLC and Kenedy who looked good and added some urgency that we are desperately in need of. Falcao again looking eager and a fantastic header and Pedro who was the only person who looked capable of creating anything.

Not sure how were going to recover but there's still time enough left this season that this awful start can be recovered as long as Jose starts fixing problems instead of watching the same thing happen over and over.
