Decent performance, lots of possession and we have held our own in defence, but to be fair ... they have been clueless in the final third. I still think our midfield is shot, though. Matic is working hard, but Ramires is poor and it means they pretty much walk their way through the centre circle every time. That was how we got undone by the Scousers in the second half on Saturday, we must stop this!

Our back 4 looks good. Zouma and Azpi side by side looks pretty solid and Rahman has done well so far. I hope Jose sticks with this for a few games.

I would but not because anyone needs replacing, more to keep him involved and give him another chance of getting some confidence back, I think he might come on and score late on.

 

Costa really needs to make better runs and looks unfit still, I'm enjoying the way we're chasing the ball when not in possession, the lads are playing for the manager alright.
