My take on the game,

The Bad:

The score line flattered us

Lack of pace at the back was exposed a couple of times on the break. First time I have seen JT live in 2 and half years and on that performance as much as I love him it looks his last season.

I go along with the Costa has lost a yard of pace, I don’t think he’s going to get big numbers again for us, sad to say (Hope I’m wrong)

Fabregas still beaten to easily by his man for me

The movement that I never see on TV is actually there, we just aren’t picking it out

The good:

Willian immense again, the moment we got the free kick I told my wife it was going in. But his overall play was quality

Dave – Is there a better player? Yap, not just defender, the guy is a dream to watch, reads the game so well, technically sound… Love Dave

Baba – Very impressed with him and nice to have a couple of really dangerous crosses whipped in of the left foot

Pedro looked menacing and came close a couple of times.

Overall happy to see the goals go in, but I agree with Jose, we have played much better this season and lost.

I am not happy about the porto game, I hate the idea that all we have to do is not loose, I feel it always puts you in a bit of a negative mind frame. Have a sh*ty feeling about that one. Basically first cup final of the season coming up!

Surprised to see Fab still getting a hard time, I thought he done well last night, some of his passing was beautiful well most of it actually. There is no one else in the team (dare I say squad) that could play that ball over the top to Hazard.

agree complete about his range of passing and ability on the ball, but when he only has Matic along side him in midfield and players walk past him like he's a cone it's an issue. I'm not saying drop him, I'm saying we need to look at it

I must of watched a different game, Cesc had a few moments defensively, but his passing was a joy, some of his raking cross field balls were sublime, the only concern is not being direct enough, this Arsenal obsession of pass pass pass, looking for the 'beautiful' goal is rather disconcerting, as I said earlier, Costa should of been hooked instead of Hazard!!

Thought Pedro looked lively when he came on, was looking to create a bit of space for himself and wasn't afraid to shoot.

Showed a lot more goal scoring intent in those ten minutes then Costa, Willian, Hazard and Oscar had shown combined.

And those goals don't count as much? f**king w**kers! 4-f**king-nil away from home and still you muppets whinge? Tossers

The goals count but it is definitely something to worry about, 80% of our goals seem to come from either a set piece or a mistake from the other team and that is definitely a cause for concern. We are slow in attack and nobody seems to want to gamble in the box.

The lack of open play I agree with, it's worrying that we don't seem to be incisive enough in the final 3rd but considering the mistakes of the oppo, this is because of pressure, it's part of the game plan

I'm a bit disappointed by the performance to be honest, with 10 men they outplayed us for something like 20-30 minutes of the 2nd half, in the end they tired out but if Ben Haim wasn't so stupid it might've been different. Their manager's half time tinker simply beat Jose's tactics.

We scored 3 second half goals to their 0. Yeah their managers half time tinker did beat Jose's tactics!!

the way things have been a 4 nil win away from home against anybody is immense !! all that matters is the word "won", something the team desperately need to get back in the habit of. Lets hope they keep it up.

I don’t think people are ‘moaning’ at all. I’d take a guess that we are all very pleased with the result last night.

It’s a forum though and every game we play is going to be scrutinised as we all share different opinions on what we are doing right/wrong.

Last night was a great result and it was good to see us attacking a fair bit more than we have done of late, that being said the amount of times they countered and split our backline was pretty worrying especially as they are a very poor side plus were down to 10 men. We still look suspect at the back sadly.

The pleasing thing for me is set plays are starting to click for us and we seem to be more dangerous than before in that regard. Willian on free kicks is a huge plus, we have struggled in the past few years in terms of having a player who has a decent FK on him so this looks like our man.

We won 4-0 away in the CL so no moaning from me.Lets hope we can do the Spuds now.....UP THE CHELS!

4-0 away on Sunday would go down pretty well. And bring back other happy memories when normal service was resumed.

We scored 3 second half goals to their 0. Yeah their managers half time tinker did beat Jose's tactics!!

At HT they got told how to play with 10 and Jose told our players how to play against 10, they were on top for ages until either Willian's FK killed their morale or they got tired, don't forget we scored those 3 goals in the 70th+ minutes.

I'm happy with the win but the rate of improvement game after game is not fast enough.

Some good stuff. Rahman looks like a young player with great potential. His crosses are top class. Willian is in the form of his life and it's nice to see a player improving season after season. Hazard was very disappointing for me, especially so as he had a humdinger last weekend. All in all a good win against a team who kept us within range until 70 minutes or so. We have to now go and think about beating Porto and topping the group.

Hi All,

There is a fraudulent person that sold and still selling fake programmes from this match as official VIP programmes for outrageous price from 25-50 pounds. Look at the picture I'm attaching.

If you or any of your friends conned by him, go to paypal and demand your money back.

There is a thread on facebook that warns about this serial sleazeball , he have done this many times with UK clubs.
