Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Chelsea (CL) 24/11/15 KO 19:45

nice goal for Oscar - but Costa's reaction? He's walking around there like a zombie. Doesn't even show enthusiasm when a team mate scores - I'd play Remy any day.

He's looking like he doesn't give a damn lately. I have no idea what is up with him.

Well let's try and put some more past Maccabi incase we find ourselves 2-1 up against Porto.

Back to Terry, i really hope him going off on a stretcher was us just playing safe. The last thing we and Terry need right now is for him to have a knee ligament injury. At Terry's age i don't think he can afford a bad injury. So often i have seen older players pick up these injuries and they never recover.

Never mind Maccabi playing with 10 men - we've been playing with 10 too, Costa has made no contribution at all. Just spotted him feeling his left hamstring - time for an injury maybe?

I think I'm right in saying, if teams are level on points at the end of the group games, then it comes down to head-to-head, rather than goal difference, can anyone confirm?

If I'm right, a draw would do us against Porto (assuming they lose tonight). We would come top and Dynamo would come second (assuming they beat Maccabi at home on the last day).

We beat Porto and we top the group and Dynamo come second.

What does this mean? It means Porto need to win at our place to go through, a draw will be no good to them, and if they beat us and Dynamo beat Maccabi, we're out.

The Dynamo result tonight is a bad one for us. Had Porto won, we would have been sure of going through, as would have Porto, they would have needed a draw to finish top and we would have needed to beat them to finish top, but at least we would have had a safety cushion, and we would have been playing a side with less riding on the result, so it promises to be a hairy night.

Hold on to your hats folks. This one ain't over. You know it's going to be nervy.

A draw will do but a loss will be disaster. I just hope Jose doesn't go cautious, because the last two years he has gone cautious when it matters and we have been knocked out.

Have the courage of your conviction Jose. There's a good boy.

Costa is showing signs of the very low on confidence syndrome that is associated with another famous Chelsea striker. When you're not in the best of form you don't really want the ball too much in case you do something wrong, he's standing out on the left when the right winger is calling for the ball but doesn't want to get in the middle and make a mistake, he'll get out of it soon unfortunately
