Matic's miss made me shout louder than I have all year.

Shower of sh*te.

He he +1 ... watched it in my parents' house and my mum came racing to ask whether I was having a heart attack. I swear that I could kicked that long-legged bugger all the way back to London ;).

Did you swear though in front of your mum?

Agree with Robdog incidentally about Herrera ... actually, that is why Utd didn't clinch this as far as I could see. They made so many stupid free kicks. Rooney's on Oscar was naughty, but he has apologised which is something.

Lololol the last time I got so emotional was when Demba knocked that goal in against PSG, JM sprinting down the touch line.

JT was Fantastic, MOTM. Zouma, Azpi and Courtois were good, Mikel and Matic were decent. Not a bad team performance overall, not good enough from half the team which takes the credit from the good performers. Time to rearrange the attacking midfield and striker area.

Didn't he have a long ranger on Courtois?

You got to be disappointed with this result, highlights alone showed you had some good chances. Herrera's miss was worse than Matic's.

In Hindsight - A point is a great result. Remember that United were thoroughly embarrassed by the loss toStoke and came out to prove a point, So it was going to be a tough draw. Also, they made 5/6 changes from the team that played on Sat so fresher legs too. Considering that we started the same 11 who finished the last match bar few changes, I would say great result.

But what alarms me is the lack of physicality in our final third, We were easily getting outmuscled and we could not even give out proper passes. We badly need some physical presence in the attacking midfield too. So, It is surprising that we decided to continue with 4 Lilliputians continue despite them being tired towards the latter half. Jose even played Kennedy more often, But the lack of game time for our youngsters esp in this situation is alarming. What is one of our current players has a hamstring injury ? I was not expecting RLC to play but I thought Traore or Kennedy would come on (They are more attacking and if they lose the ball also, It would be in our area so we should still be able to defend.)

I want to see a huge improvement in the next game and if not - I want to see one or two youngsters be given a chance. Also I hope that we buy some PHYSICAL players in the winter transfer. That John Stones and Pogba loss is looking way more costly now. Costlier is the fact that we did not go after other physical players (Vidal) who might have been vailable on the cheap.

That Martial fellow is going to be huge for United. Wish we had gotten him - oh wait, We dont play youth anyways !

Bizarrely, I thought matic was one of our better performers, but was guilty of one of the most excruciatingly bad moments...really needs to work on his shooting...that effort at Everton in August is very much the exception to the norm

what a f**king depressing bunch of muppets  if that is what JM had been left wth i am suprised he didnt run down the kings road not wait for the  sack

how the hell can we be in a situation where we dont have a bloody striker and that muppet emunalo says big clubs always have back up plans and thats to get a pensioner who has not been involved in truely competitive football for years and when he was he got sacked  total shower of sh*t

Woeful first half, almost as bad as the Leicester match but a turnaround in the second. Draw is a fair result but both teams are busted flushes. What gets up my goat is the BT panel, two ex United players and Gerrard as a neutral. FFS. And the narrative is how much improved United are! Rooney motm, can you believe it? Misses a sitter and almost breaks Oscar's leg. Should have been de Gea with Courtois a close second.

On an optimistic note, Everton/Martinez lost to Stoke. Woopee!

Yes - 25 minutes into the MUFC diatribe I gave up all hope of hearing anything about CFC.  Bloody disgrace really.

And as for Rio brushing aside the Rooney foul yeah righto matey - what a dumb plank.

As for us - turgid first half bit better in the second.  Even with a sub-par MUFC, OT is still a tricky away fixture.

By Christ is Hazard really £200k pw fit?   I know he gets knocked about a bit but he was dreadful in the last quarter.

On the bright side that Rooney miss against Courtois where he air-kicks the ball looks more and more dreadful the more you watch it.

Happy f**king new year

I was very disappointed in the difference in the movement between the 2 teams. Our forward play is so predictable. Had Man U a decent striker they'd have trounced us today.

Having said that, a point is a good result at old Trafford especially given our current situation.

Oh those turning on Guus need to have a long look at themeselves!

Horrible performance. People expecting a complete turnaround after two games are going to be hard to please. I am as disappointed /frustrated as everyone else after today but I think Guus needs time to assess the squad individualy. He hasn't seen what we have seen all season, so I'm gonna give him a wee bit longer to sort things out ( if indeed he can) I'm also disappointed /frustrated with this forum of late. Some of the vitriol spewed out towards players & fellow Shed Enders is uncalled for imo. Eg. Maitc,I don't think for a second that he missed that one on one on purpose. Maybe got a slight bobble but still a bad miss.Oscar not my favourite player, I think we should sell him but I'm not going to come out with some of the comments I've read on here. We're all in this together, some unity please.

P. S. At this rate I think we're in for a long hard fight for survival. Don't think we have the players to tough it out .Some won't care, if we're relegated they'll be off like a shot.

well another  game goes by and the top half of the table seems to be getting further away ..week after week since august the pre match talk has been well surely we will soon see the real Chelsea ..too much quality to be in the position we are in.....well that's this year done and I see no improvement at all..so predictable to play against ..no quality in the final third ..its bloody embarrassing ..makes joses efforts to land a league and cup double with this bunch of overpaid losers a minor miracle..
