Very nice indeed. Think with Arsenal and City already having established #10s in Ozil, Silva and KDB, he would rather prefer us (given the likes of PSG, Bayern, Utd aren't gunning for him) if we show serious interest especially with Juve's interest in Oscar.

He's a far better footballer than Oscar though so would be a HUGE improvement in our starting 11.

If we want players of Isco's quality to join us in the future then we will either have to win the Champions League or pay them BIG wages.

 

I think we need to be a bit more realistic though. If we can sign these type of players then that will be great, but i think we are going to have to start finding unknown quality or give some of the youngsters a go.

I think we can still bring in known qualities ( especially unsettled ones like Isco) if we can convince them to buy into our project/vision et al. We are still a major force in Europe, we won't stay down too long except of course releg-unthinkable happens.

We should recall some of our stock-piled loaned out international players, and give them a go, instead of gambling in the transfer market for over-rated boy wonders.

Isco isn't over rated.

I think isco would thrive here if we play as we did today. Apparently £30m is the price although I find that hard to believe.

I don't think we will see any big movements until later in the month, if we can take relegation completely off the table.

I wouldn't say either have any position sorted, considering where we are in the table. I would swap isco for oscar in a heartbeat.

Didn't start once again last night. Benitez preferred Kovacic. Hoping he keeps that up...
