January 24, 201610 yr special mention to Petr Cech for his post match common sense. Called it precisely as it was, no ifs or buts !! Wenger would do well to listen to Petr, preferably after taking off his red tinted specs the utter twat !! Edited January 24, 201610 yr by coombsie

I felt the same and would honestly have taken a 0-0 before the game. But we must remember this club is Chelsea and just when you think that they cannot possibly get a result, they will defy the odds. Wish I had had the guts to have a bet on a win, I would have gone 1-0
January 24, 201610 yr What did Cech say? Mainly surrounding the sending off (which Wenger openly and vehemently blamed Costa for) Petr, just said that there was very little complaint from Mertesacker or any point in anyone else complaining as the ref had made up his mind instantly and that energy wasted on complaining to the ref was futile. They just had to battle back with 10 men and unfortunately came up short mainly due to a lack of touch and finishing Edited January 24, 201610 yr by coombsie
January 24, 201610 yr Arsene Wenger - "In the first game he (Costa) got Gabriel sent off and in the second game he got Mertersacker sent off." #CFC
January 24, 201610 yr Delight after the game turned to extesy when I heard Arshole w**ker's post match interview. Thanks Arsen, keep being a twat - you made my day. Edited January 24, 201610 yr by Petworth Chelsea Fan

January 24, 201610 yr LOL .. Mertesacker got himself sent off today. Fact is that their central def couldn't cope today.
January 24, 201610 yr I'd be disappointed if Wenger accepted defeat graciously. I love the thought of him slithering into his house depressed as hell and struggling to get to sleep. The guy is vermin.
January 24, 201610 yr Would be nice, but the 2-0 earlier in the seaosn did nothing. actually that is when it all fell apart - the FA went after us - the media was up in arm w/ Diego Costa crimes - today those same talking heads (and some of our so-called fans) didn't even give us a chance - "oooh it will be free flowing arsenel tearing Chelsea to shreads today @ emirates - Ozil will destroy Chelsea".....What happened? le arse 0-1 Chelsea
January 24, 201610 yr What did Cech say? He said ''19-5-2012 I was there and none of these sad acts in front of me will ever experience that''.
January 24, 201610 yr per knows he has made a mistake, walks off the pitch without arguing a single bit wenger should learn how to be a professional from his own player
January 24, 201610 yr Nine matches unbeaten against them in the league and we haven't conceded a goal in the last six. I wonder if Arsenal fans start to feel the same way about the current situation as I did and probably quite a few Chelsea fans did during late '90s and early '00s when it seemed like we just couldn't get a win against that lot. Until the glorious night at Highbury in the Champions League of course.
January 24, 201610 yr I understand what you say but he was pathetic today - a lazy coward is all I can say about him. Wouldn't hurt to make an effort would it? Plus tackles are part of the game. 100% useless. Ffs.....a lazy coward ?? I'll treat that comment with the contempt it deserves. On a positive note I thought we were defensively sound today, at one point we had 3 defenders on the goal line when the gooners were pressing and threatening to score. Excellent stuff.
January 24, 201610 yr Just as a laugh, hypothetically, how much pleasure would Jose get were he to usurp Wenger...

Yes, Arsey had many chances all of which were thwarted. Tibo, not at his best, was backed up and protected by team work.
