Chelsea vs. Manchester City (FAC) 21/02/16 KO: 16:00 GMT

Dont really get this post. This is our best chance of silverware this season, we must go all out. We do not need to rest anyone this game, we have a couple of weeks before psg, we can rest players in the league. I would rather come 10th in the league and win the fa cup, than 7th or 8th and win nothing.

Its a perfect chance to give fringe players experience of a big game against a good team, without a bundle of pressure that a league game against City would bring. Top 4 is not out of the question and the point is Guus will not rest players in the league so i was hoping he would do so here.

He hasnt and yet again our lack of rotation will cost us in the long run.

I'm relatively optimistic we can win this one. the FA Cup is probably our best chance of silverware this season, and it would be nice as well to deny City the chance to win this. Can see us winning 2-0

good team. i hope city put out a relatively decent team so we actually get a good game rather than a one sided one.

Counting your chickens a bit there assuming the game would be one sided.

City XI: Caballero, Zabaleta, Adarabioyo, Demichelis, Kolarov, Fernando, A.Garcia, M.Garcia, Celina, Iheanacho, Faupala

While I'd be wary of Iheanacho, I'm not too concerned by the rest of their XI

Disappointed to see Hazard start. He is dreadful now. Come on Eden, pull your f**king finger out and win us this tie.

Baba's chance to really show what he has in his locker

It would be very Chelsea-esque for us to get very excited by their lineup, then lose 1-0. Praying they get the job done, but an absolute hammering would be lovely

well if it isn't with the team city have put out then we should take a long, hard look at ourselves; that city team is awful in comparison to ours in terms of quality.

There team highlights that it would of been good to introduce our fringe players. Our team with kenedy traore and RLC would still be much stornger than there XI

We should take full advantage of that lineup. Go for the kill early before they bring on their big players.

I agree it is, but this 2016 Chelsea we are talking about!

It's certainly weaker but not awful. Kolarov, Fernando and Iheanacho are very good, and City have some quality youth players

Well now look at that city line up. Their gaffa was not kidding he really did put out a B side.

Given the side we have put out there anything other than a win would be more embarrassing than our losses last year to Bournemouth and Liverpool.

no excuses can be made if we struggle in this game today.

Come on now!

Both Garcia's are very good from what I've seen, I would keep an eye on them too.

Yeah that's true. It isn't a bad side, but we have put out a much stronger side. Our attack should have too much pace for their defence

Have seen the city line up I agree with you.

We could have had rlc and kenedy in for hazard and willian at the very least. Traore for Diego as well.

Having said that this Chelsea side excels at losing or drawing home games we should comfortably win so nothing is certain. City may well knock us out or take us to a replay.
