I'm thinking that England would stand a better chance against France in the quarters, assuming we can make it past Iceland tomorrow (which I don't expect to be easy). Ireland are tough, well organised and threatening on the counter. France seems to be just Payet.

Nice counter there from Ireland, deserved a goal. After the tedium of yesterday's football this is a breath of fresh air.

After being let down by Northern Ireland and Croatia, I fully expect another disappointment: 2 lucky goals by France.
