We was not talking about Fergie, why bring him up?

I am sure some of you are suffering the first recorded case of mass amnesia. I have posted enough clips of his gaffs and cock ups I don't intend to do it again. They are freely available on the net.

Only this morning I remembered Frank having to pulled away from him during a european game.

Just a random thought while waiting for our game but it's crazy how AC Milan fell off in the past years im so glad we have an owner that cares about the club

The Manchester derby has put me to sleep twice now, tried to watch it live but dozed off after kick off only to wake up during the second half of Arse/Southampton. Tried to watch the replay last night only to again doze off and wake up during the second half of our game. Will give it a third go this afternoon, hopefully I'll manage it!

Best managers don't always bring trophies. Both in the category of best managers.

They also do not ball out their staff in front of 42000 live audience & many more thousand on live television, especially if they are in the wrong, IMHO he lost a lot of credibility among many who thought he was infallible, cowardly display of male chauvinism against a person who could not answer back on the day, but had a counter argument later in time.

If that put you to bed then you must have been fast asleep from 4pm today also Charles.

Still wins trophies

Anyone else shocked at how wrong Mourinho got it on Saturday? United as a team simply didn't look ready in the first half - players constantly out of position in defence, so many 'unforced errors' when in possession. Lingard and Mkhitaryan in particular were both abysmal. It was only after their fluke goal that United got any kind of foothold in the game. And in the second half I don't recall many clearcut chances at all, it was almost as if United's main source of creativity was Claudio Bravo...

Managers get things wrong of course and, as we know very well, Mourinho is not infallible by any means. But I can't remember a JM team looking as incompetent across the board in a game of that magnitude.

The tactics or team selection he started with was appalling, but his changes at half-time showed his ability to really change the game.

Did they? United improved but that's not saying much given how poor they were to that point. Sure, they had more of the ball but they barely fashioned any real chances.

Forced City, who had dominated the game in the first half, to totally shut up shop for most of the second half, it was quite a bit difference.

On the other hand, Pep showed why Wenger cannot emulate his success, as he showed he was prepared to defend a narrow lead and go quite negative.

Should've started with Carrick imo, throwing a new signing into a game like that for his debut was a recipe for failure. Could make a case for Mata over Lingard as well.

djolibadgers out there on a relaxing sunday night stroll

He literally has no idea how to mark a player, just gave lukaku 2 free headers. Then just left him completely free by charging up the pitch. Dreadful player.
