You want that bite in your striker otherwise you become like Giroud. All the best strikers have that side whether it's Suarez, Costa or Aguero.

It was a shocking tackle mind you but there was definitely frustration with the ref and it doesn't help when you're getting tonked at the other end. The one thing that perplexes me about footballers and football managers, Is why do they take such offence to the oppo manager celebrating? Mourinho had a dig at Conte about it, Poch had a dig and even Pep/Fernandinho had a go at Conte today, I don't get it, Why isn't he allowed to celebrate? I haven't played much sports but i'd celebrate as well if i was winning, Why not?

I'd tell an opposing manager where to get off if they said anything to me about celebrating. Conte is such a gent aswell he would probably not argue back.

Yeah, I think everyone can agree we don't want Giroud leading the line.

Football is a passionate game. I actually like it when managers and players express that passion.

I shouldn't be laughing as i don't want it to happen but it's a still better look than seeing a crazy German chest bumping scousers or a skeleton looking Frenchman getting drenched in wine thrown onto him by pretty boy Arsenal players.

i only watch el clasico for the hilarious soap opera flopping and fighting but hey so far pretty good end to end football this

Pardew is actually winning a football match 2-0, stop the presses.

Now, how can he engineer a way to screw it all up. I won't know as I'm watching a better calibre of football match, but if I switch over in 45 minutes and Palace aren't losing 6-5 I'll be disappointed.

He's basically a flash Owen Coyle

Pardew always has been a mystery. His sides can look very impressive at times but then they stink up the joint for a prolonged period.

I do feel that he hits upon effective formations but that he lacks the flexibility to adjust quickly enough when the opposition figures him out.
