Well that's over then.

united are cemented at 6th in the league then for the season. They have only got 5points out of a possible 15 in their last 5 games.

wait for Jose to blame the fixture pile up and the irrelevance of the league.

Jose is  the biggest bore on the premier league. He's really lost it. Should f**k off back to Portugal and retire as an international coach. He's finished at the top level.

Yet if they win the Europa league they will have had a better season than Spurs, City and Liverpool. Should really be used to put this Spurs season in perspective. the sh*t from what was formally the lane have won f*** all again.

Tottenham hasn't performed this well in the league since 1962/63.

I bet @Spudulike is pleased.

Certainly they're superior to Redknapp's side, which while entertaining and talented was tactically naive.

Bad grammar

Even if utd win two cups, they're as far away as ever from being a top side...they are so average...yes, two trophies is better than none, so better than spurs then...but they would be in the two weakest competitions...the 22 point gap between ourselves and utd in the table is a true barometer of their quality and their style of play truly bores the pants off everyone

It's definite progress mate.  We may end the season on 86 points.  It's a tribute to CFC's consistency that that number of points wasn't enough to win the league.

Momemtum is an interesting thing in sport. I'll be honest that I am worried about being at Wembley for home games next season and also about keeping the squad together; egos and agents being what they are, there's a danger of players' heads being turned.

If we can deal with both issues, things do look good. It feels like a really important next season though - will we build on this season? Can we keep it going?

The overall quality of their play IMO is not an improvement over Van Gaal's despite Zlatan and Pogba's presence.

I think you have a real chance if:

1) Tottenham adjust to Wembley quickly

2) Dele Alli, Kane, Eriksen and Pochettino are retained

3) Janssen improves so that Tottenham aren't quite as reliant upon Kane as their main striker - it also allows you to change formations if you are struggling to penetrate. Tottenham IMO do occasionally have this issue, particularly when they play away. Also arguably makes it harder to rotate properly for European games

I don't get it. Their new toilet is being built on the old toilet and the existing toilet has gone through so many changes that it it's not even the same as the original toilet. Just sounds like a load of sh*t to me. Pointless w**kfest. Bit like celebrating coming second. Oh wait....

I hope we don't do this bullsh*t when we leave the bridge temporarily...it's all so cringe...the fact we are not actually moving at all should negate the need...I just worry the suits see a chance for some good pr and similar kind of w**kfest...I mean if media and sky wax lyrical about poxy Upton Park and the sh*t from the lane, what could we get?

On second thoughts, the media will probably just do a montage of hooliganism, electric fences, Drogba saying fcuking disgrace down a camera etc in our case.

It is unreasonable how much I hate this slow version of when the saints.

It's by far the worst football chant for me. It's boring, slow, and so many clubs sing it.

I just hate the variations in it, oh when the Spurs, the Leeds etc. It should be left as oh when the Saints and left for Southampton or St Helens on Rugby League.

Some wonderful advice there from the great man Wenger himself.  its not like we haven't won the premier league 4 times while playing in Europe before. Apparently we're Leicester. :laugh2:

Its amazing how many excuses he comes up with year after year. I suppose next season since all the top 6 clubs will be playing in Europe, Burnley will win the league. Or even Leicester will win another title
