PSG clearly wanted it more. Watching Barcelona was like watching a side that weren't up for it anymore, a side that look's like they are thinking they have nothing left to give because they have done it all before. Their desire to win just wasn't there.

Messi really isn't the same player he was a few years back. Makes me sad to realise that he too is getting older.

I've always despised Barca but I feel privileged that I was able to watch him all these years.

He's still the best player on the planet for me. He still scores goals for fun, tonight was an off night.

Oh yes I fully agree with you. But to me he just doesn't look as hungry and passionate as he did a couple of years ago. Sometimes when things aren't going for him I feel like he just stops trying, whereas before he would switch gears and give it all he's got.

Barcelona have a weak central midfield and defence this year. I watched them against Atletico in copa del rey recently and they were just as bad then. They depend on magic from MSN in attack, but against the best teams that is not enough.

This PSG team without Verratti struggled against Monaco at home, only players that stood out for them was Murnier and Rabiot. I think there is some good players to be found among those two teams in the summer.

I keep hearing Arsenal fans and sky sports go on about how this Bayern side is not the Bayern of Pep or Heynckes, My question to them would be since when was this bunch of Arsenal players the invincibles? I still expect Bayern to comfortably go through.

Ah but you're just talking about the football...there's the trips, the bars, the drinking, the craic

Won't lie I've missed it this year. Love a European away with the boys. The closest we've had this season was Swansea away back in September.

Pep's Bayern wasn't the Bayern of Heynckes so that's hardly a surprise. They'll still beat Arsenal though.

Real Madrid will be left unchallenged without Barca. But I'm counting on Bayern. It will also be a sweet story to see Ancelotti to beat his former team.

I do think this current Chelsea squad can beat Real Madrid. We've got better defenders. What do you think?

James and Modric would cause us some real trouble
