It's a forum, the concept of which is people giving an opinion.

That I understand but we have been spoilt as fans in the last 10 years now we had a bad season last season and this season our new manager is now taking things slowly some fans throw a tantrum. Give the manager the support we are in a difficult period most difficult in the last 10 years get behind the players and manager. Last season people were crying for Cesc to be dropped he's a rat he gets beaten in the middle too easy etc etc this season the opposite it shows how fickle some fans are.

Classic case of a manager not wishing to make a mistake in the early going.  But f**k me this is Burnley we are playing...put them on the back foot, play two forwards and a creator...ffs, they are going to sit with 10 men behind the ball and play on the break, everyone knows it including Conte when he was interviewed on CFC TV....and then he picks the same old, same old.  Maybe Cesc isn't fully fit...anyway an early goal might ease the pain of selecting this 11.

Football fans are fickle bunch. Not just the Chelsea ones.

Conte probably thinks he needs to protect our back line. Unless we get a CB and zouma gets completely healthy, he probably doesnt have that much of a choice. The positive thing is that zouma is back in the bench and could be ready in a few matches. Come on Chelsea.

That's spot on and we do moan a fair bit, but we have been frustrated all last season, frustrated all transfer window, as fans we can be forgiven for wanting to give a team like Burnley a leathering at home, we are just after something different, anything....

He has Kante playing almost in defence to protect them the two first games, I don't see why we need two more infront of him against Burnley at home.

Best bit of news in a while! COYB

Maybe he feels our defense isn't that tough and maybe burnleys last win has kept him thinking defensive.. They have won the last match with a 2- nil lead and they will be full of confidence. He probably wants to null it out first though i still agree we should have been more offensive in our ground
