Forgot to give a shout out to one of the sh*ttest refs in the game in martin atkinson...the man who failed to spot Ashley Barnes nearly breaking matic's leg last year...on one hand we should thank his ineptitude for not sending Luiz off for that poor challenge...but then again the twat bottled sending Bailly off for a blatant second yellow when he blatantly tripped hazard...it was such a bad non decision Eden was laughing rather than being angry...but worst of all, and what sums up what a complete twat he is, was booking Pedro for his celebration after scoring in the first minute...what a dick...if he was milking in front of Utd fans, you could maybe understand it...but he was at other end of the pitch simply celebrating a goal...ridiculous

And there are actually United fans out there that think he favours Chelsea when he refs our matches. Booking Pedro was f**king disgraceful.

Ah is it really any different to us singing about the CL for ages when losing to Arsenal?

So different in so many ways

Almost 24 hours on and I'm still buzzing. What a performance from us!

As I told my colleagues who commented on the result: of all the matches I didn't want to lose this season, this one topped the list! Now for a similar result for the away match...:good2:

I think it's ibrahimovic.

I couldn't tell - for a minute I thought it was Aaron Lennon - but I thought that can't be right

Oh how awful!!  The thought of standing next to Boyne and not realising is horrible.  From now on, every time you go to a match, you should turn to all your neighbours and say "Are you Boyne?"

We will end up sounding like the baggies fans singing 'boing boing'

Don't think we got the credit we deserved for such an amazing performance, it was all how sh*t united were whilst We were at it from start to finish, brilliant performance.

like to say well done to M Alonso for the quite  and professional

way he has gone about his job  had a bloody difficult task against Man u  but he stuck to his task

and came out a winner as in all his other games

Conte will always command respect from the players because he's been there and done it , as a player, a captain, and a manager. World class in all departments. Sorry, Jose, telling people to do what you've never done only gets you so far

Talk about rewriting history!  For all he hasn't had a good couple of years, there's no doubt that Jose has commanded respect from players in the past.

Sorry to be a kill joy but a soon as you make contact with the crowd it's a bookable offence. I don't agree with it but the players know the rules, just like taking your shirt off.

Both of which are bullsh*t offences, especially the celebrating in the crowd one.

People pay huge sums of money to go and watch games and players are punished for wanting to acknowledge their existence. There's nothing wrong with what Pedro did and it's pathetic that it's viewed as an "offence".

one thing I like to bring back was the Ole's coming from the fans with every touch by a CFC Player - that was lovely to watch & hear - Hell I will watch Manchester Mondays to revisit this

Great win.

Surreal moment for me on Sunday. Saw the first goal going to the New York Jets game. In a train station,on an American Chelsea fan's mobile phone. He was watching it live and we celebrated together, then had a discussion about Chelsea while watching the match.

Totally surreal Chelsea moment for me.

Friends for life for 2 hours :good2:

And the Jets won as well (finally...) I noticed

very true, bullsh*t offences as you make out of it but to vent the anger on an employee who is following the rule set by the organization? can't we at least be accurate when directing criticism based on context?

I have no idea what you're talking about?

Should the ref be getting the blame for booking pedro when all he did was to follow instruction already set by the FA? We all agree it's a bullsh*t offence but the ref didn't set the rule.. he's just doing his job, at least in that context.. The criticisism on him in that context is unjust..

But I made no mention of the referee in my post and by extension didn't criticise him.

My post was talking broadly about there being rules in place that are specifically there to prohibit certain types of celebration from players.

My main gripe being that players who choose to celebrate with the people that ensure football as spectacle even exists are viewed as doing something that should be punished.
