no. he's 38. lets be realistic- he is unlikely to have much else to offer at this level and those minutes should go to a young player.

plus he'll be back at chelsea in some other capacity sooner or later.

It's disgraceful in the manner we let him go -- and how he was treated at the end. And his last Prem game was as a City player (partly his own choice), and that is not right! He's a Chelsea legend and should retire in blue, alongside JT. Hopefully can cap the season off with Prem winners medals for them!

just a reminder- we've won nothing at all this season. lets stop talking as if winning the title is a done deal, and like we can afford to bring old boys back to top up their medal collections.

Scored a few deflected penalties but that's about it.
