Yes, Hull should have had a free kick before our goal. No need to apologize though considering we should have had a penalty, probably a goal (Diego was onside) and a second yellow.

I've noticed that we've sometimes looked mediocre during the first half (Crystal Palace anyone?) only for someone to pop up and grab a goal - and that someone always seems to be Costa.

We deserved to score, we aren't fantastic, but we are playing very well. We're dynamic, hungry, first to the ball, moving the ball. Everything is fine we just need to create more chances. 

Kante and Matic are very good, their defense work is great. Hazard has been good, but Pedro was quiet, he has to wake up or Willian should get the chance.

I'd like to see us scoring more, play a little bit faster and create more chances. COME ON CHELS!!!

I don't understand why people are harsh on Matic. I think he was pretty good defensively, he's defensive midfielder, we can't expect from him to give us some crazy balls which will lead us to a goal. He tries for the team, no problem with him until now in the first half.

Thought we played fine. Hull is playing a defensive game so it was always going to be a challenge to break them down. Now that we have done so hopefully we can add to the lead.

On NBCSN they said it wasn't really a foul because Hernandez goes down too easily. Which I agree with...

Fabregas for Matic and Wilian for Pedro. Make sure we keep it tight and don't mess up at the back. They have to come out now being 1-0 down. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

But we know he has the qualities to pass and go forward too, when he couldn't defend for toffee last season he was operating as a standard CM, I think accurate passing should be expected from him really.

He's not done anything wrong but Matic should be brought off for Fabregas.

Don't get wound up mate, Sky have the kind of reporting that's aimed at upsetting people and setting up conflict. Like so many news companies today.

It's safe to say they know exactly we were put at a disadvantage by the refs.

That is the first big decision Hull can even complain about. The refs have been sh*t, but it's mostly sh*t against us.

Seems like alonso had a lot chances down the left but apart from that cross to kante, he didn't make the most of his chances there.. I think a more attacking player like willian/pedro there would definitely give hull something more to think about.. I'd also include cesc here for either kante/matic.. Our offence was pretty dull in the 1st half, need more firepower..
