February 12, 20179 yr lotsa history between us & interestingly Burnley best us in head to head over the years: we've won 34, they've won 37 with 22 matches drawn. Now obviously they haven't beaten us for sometime in the league - 1983 at their joint 3-0 (albeit that they shocked us in League Cup in 08/09 when they won on penalties). An interesting tie & they've proven difficult to beat at home this season. Take 1-0 all day long.
February 12, 20179 yr Big opportunity to stretch our lead with some 'nice' games coming up. Lets get this done Chelsea!!

As far as I can remember, Conte has described pretty much every match as difficult and every opponent as hard to play against in his pre- and post match interviews.
February 12, 20179 yr Probably worth noting that they lost their last game against Watford; a re-match just a week or so after they'd beaten Arsenal at the Emirates probably wasn't particularly welcome.
February 12, 20179 yr Game day. Big chance to go 12 clear for the moment. We must take full advantage! C'mon Chels!
February 12, 20179 yr I like Conte. Not only is he a great tactician, a great man-manager and a former player but he keeps his feet firmly on the ground. We have won Jack Sh*t this season until we finally lift the Premiership trophy. Conte knows this and I know this. Every game is a cup final. Plenty of teams will try and stop us on the way and Burnley are one of them. They have a good home record and won't make it easy for us. I can't stand their manager. He's a petty little creep as far as I'm concerned. With Spurs losing at Liverpool we have a chance to extend our lead. I reckon Man city will beat Bournemouth. Three points are what we require. Let's hope we get them. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!
February 12, 20179 yr Getting nervous, probably more so because we have a chance to increase our gap to 12 points (at least before man city play).

February 12, 20179 yr We have tricky away fixtures left burnley, west brom, stoke, west ham, everton, and united. All games that will be tough to get 3 points. Hope we come away from this unscathed. Come on chelsea.
February 12, 20179 yr Team to face Burnley: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill (c); Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard.
February 12, 20179 yr So same line up. Would have maybe started fabregas but still why change winning formula
February 12, 20179 yr Team to face Burnley: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill [emoji767]; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard. Very consistent lineup

February 12, 20179 yr come on.. Pedro shd be a super sub not starting... I pray he proves me wrong. he better suited to home games
February 12, 20179 yr Obviously Conte's looking for Matic to shore up the midfield early on and then bring on Fabregas to open Burnley up if necessary. I would have started Cesc, but I have no issue with this lineup.

Willian's better against more open sides because he's faster and technically superior to Pedro.
