Burnley Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 12/02 2017 KO 13:30 GMT

I expect a competitive and feisty first 20-30 mins and then we'll show our quality. Burnley at home like to push their front two high up which means that their midfield bank of 4 push up too leaving them exposed at the back to the quick counter-attack...and with Pedro and Hazard we're ideally situated to that type of play...3 1 Chelsea

Lets face it, not one Burnley player would get into the Chelsea squad never mind the first team. So on paper this should be a gimme. I expect a very hard match though, a crowd up for it , hoping for a shock, a team that shows lots of spirit at home and an extremely cold brisk Easterly wind blowing in off the moors, this is the kind of fixture that can define champions and those who also ran. The similarities are Blackburn in 2005 when a hard fought 1-0 saw us through. I expect more of the same.

as long as hazard doesnt pick up a robben like injury

this will be their 'cup-final' match, a chance to beat the best so far, and perhaps influence

the outcome of the title race. I'm confident of Chels winning , but not in an easy manner, think

as some have hinted above it will be a very hard-fought match, i'll settle for a 0-1 courtesy

of the Guv'nor.

(p.s. not that 1 wont take 2 or 3 nil as well)

Spurs are playing Liverpool so it's very possible to extend the lead to 11 or 12 points until Monday, and possibly beyond. Sounds sweet doesn't it?

Pretty simple here Chelsea keep it tight and don't concede we will win the game, we have all the qualities necessary here to walk away with a 2-0 victory keeping it tight and hitting them on the break

We have 7 of the team that last played at Burnley which we won 1-3.  I think only Luiz, Alonso, Kante and Pedro have not played at Turf Moor.

We will be too much for them over 90 mins. It's an easy win for me.

Burnley’s home record is dubious to me it might be to do with their home address :

Turf Moor, Harry Potts Way, Burnley BB10 4BX

they are linked to wizardy & witchcraft .

 Fabregas is magic ....

I agree all this talk of their home record, defiantly a good side at home but arsenal and city have gone there and beat them and we have beat both of them, don't see a reason, with our form, and record against teams out of the top 6 being all wins except Swansea early on, that we shouldn't win comfortable, we have mastered what always gave us issues beating lower teams that keep behind the ball, Burnley play quite high energy and intensity but that will suit us when it's not a top team with extremely talented players if they do try and give it a go there is no better team than Chelsea on the break, so we should be able to hurt them. 0-3 Chelsea to win comfortably.

I am sorry but can Jose Mourinho stop talking about chelsea. He never has anything good to say... And the same guy called Wenger a Voyeur  SMH

He has to he has a giant ego, when the team failed miserably to defend the title he said it's because he made them look far better than what they were, now conte has taken basically the same squad and is killing the competition on his first season, it must dent his ego quite a bit, to be expected

Well then there it is,  once more our closest rival has slipped up and given us quite an opportunity.

We can go 12 points clear tomorrow. Yes city play Monday and could cut that lead however it would be 12 clear of Spurs and arsenal, 13 of Liverpool and 14 clear of United. City having the hardest run in.

Let's do it guys,  win this and we really do tighten our grip on the top. Come on Chelsea!

win this match and the title grip becomes a bit more tighter - I believe this is one of those banana skin matches, but this Chelsea side is filled with players that have won Championships - hell we even have a couple of players that have won a World Cup - I feel very optimistic about this match - even a draw is s good result - come on Chelsea we are in the home stretch of this Title race

Matchday at last.Enjoyed watching the Spuds play poorly, was Kane even on the pitch ? Wrap up anyone who is going, the wind will be whistling across the Pennines.Three points would be nice.....UP THE CHELS !
