not exactly striking confidence having Begovic in goal, but we'll manage. it's definitely not the end of the world. If Hazard's out on the other hand...

Can't find anything about Courtois being missing on Sky Football site nor BBC Football. The only mention is on Football.London. We shall have to wait and see if this is true. If it is I'm not a great fan of Begovic. He will need to be protected by our defense. Makes this match even more difficult. Be we shall have to wait for team sheets.  FROM BBC FOOTBALL - Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has a full-strength squad and could name an unchanged side.

P.S Daily Star, Metro and Evening Standard now reporting it. I don't know if they got their stories from Football.London but we shall have to wait and see the team sheets.

 Exactly and they didn't mention it on MOTD2 extra which is now being broadcast on BBC.

If we haven't kept a clean sheet for 9 games....I can't see us keeping one here....with Tibo out unless Asmir has a blinder....still think we will be good enough to take 3 points.

EARLY CHELSEA TEAM NEWS

As mentioned earlier, reports are growing Thibaut Courtois has picked up an ankle injury and could miss the game. Asmir begovic is on alert to step in.

Otherwise, Antonio Conte should have a fully-fit squad for the trip to Old Trafford. Wing-back Victor Moses returned from a toe injury against Bournemouth last Saturday and came through unscathed.

 

Note they say Begovic is on alert to step in and not that he's for sure playing. Also note they say COULD not WILL miss the game.They are not sure or they would say so. The Daily Maill tends to print any old sh*t.

Yep....he doesn't distribute the ball well either and horrible with his feet....................other than that he's world class

well courtois isn't exactly mr super calm with the ball at his feet. begovic is decent in the box. begovic is quality enough keeper to step in and do a job. 

No Tibo is a massive blow, not feeling as confident now

to be honest not expecting much from this game a draw would be ok ,so the points diff could be 5 which i think with the winnable games we have left should see us 

over the line ,as well as spurs are playing at the mo for them to win all six of their remaining games would be some feat .

if we win today thats it all over.

As long as if Chelsea stop playing the Man City way from the keeper then Bergovic will hopefully be fine.

Well we were not going to keep a clean sheet with tibo in goal and you can be sure without him we will concede more than with him. 

Add to that Costa woefully out of form and everything said about Jose, him and his team wanting revenge etc, and I am expecting we use up one of our two life lines today. Leaving one for everton. Table could be real tight after that game.

I'm a bit concerned if Tibo does miss this game because he's made some important saves in recent weeks but Begovic is a decent back up.

No question Spuds are on fire at the moment and they have closed the gap but as it stands the outcome of the title is still in our control, that's a good position to be in. Come on The Chels.

Nervy game today for sure. All three points would be massive. When was the last time we came away with the victory at OT?

Should we only get one point via a draw, it could still prove to be a massive point. If Spurs do not lose the rest of the way, but do draw somewhere (like at Palace, home to Arsenal, at West Ham or at Leicester), one point from us would put us back on the 1, 4 or 7 point lead should we win as we go through the remaining games.

I fully expect Jose to park the bus and counter from the beginning. He will play us like the Liverpool match in April 2014. He will look for counters. He knows we have to be on the front foot as we need all three points.

I think Diego will come to play today due to the opponent. I believe you will see a renewed energy.

I expect more of the same from Man United as from the FA Cup match earlier this year. Very physical.

Hopefully Courtois can play, but we shall see. Ibrahimovic is one of the best in the world right now in scoring headers from crosses and corners. Have to find a way to shut this down.
