Not doubting that but I reckon he is smart enough not to throw a spanner in the works. Think last summer he wanted to swap Sterling for Sanchez because his application was off, now he is one of their best performers bringing in Sanchez now might result in a negative reaction from Sterling/Sane/Aguero depending on whose game time gets reduced (see Mane’s performance ever since he was shafted to the left to accommodate Salah).

Pep didnt want to swap Sterling for Sanchez, that was one of the reasons the deal collapsed. Sanchez will be at City whether it's Jan or the summer, with Jesus out for 2 months and his not a big fan of Aguero I just wouldn't be surprised it's Jan.
December 31, 20178 yr Didn't know about the swap offer though for me don't see Sanchez moving until the end of the season.
January 1, 20188 yr Have to say there's that invincibility about the City game, they should have lost that game, can't believe even the penalty was saved. Zaha and Sterling run into the box at the same time, it's a contest of who goes down first.
January 1, 20188 yr Palace made a couple of dodgy challenges and on another occasion one could easily have been a red, slim margins these days between wins and defeats in some matches.
January 1, 20188 yr Obviously Sanchez and Silva are different players, I expect City to sign Sanchez because Jesus is out for 2 months and Pep isnt the biggest fan of Aguero. Silva has been missed the last 2 games though. Not too sure about that. Bringing in Sanchez now would slightly dampen the chemistry they've got going on. Sanchez imo likes to hold the ball for a bit which is slightly different to what City's frontmen does. On paper it looks good but doesn't necessarily translate on the pitch.

Had it been something like the Arse vs Utd game then I'd agree.
January 1, 20188 yr I'm actually impressed that Palace managed to stop City winning. It puts our loss against them, while still terrible, into perspective. I still expect City's record to stand for a very long time though. RE Jesus and De Bruyne, I heard they were both injured? They've both won City several games by themselves so their loss might allow other teams to close the gap some. Not enough to actually beat them to the PL title of course.

Well Pep wants him and he knows better than anyone. All i'm saying is with the injuries it might be Jan instead of the summer.

That is a good point, the money gained is more than they will make from selling Sanchez. I take what Wenger says with a pinch of salt, his an arrogant git and thankfully the longer he stays at Arsenal they wont do anything special, stay for another 10 years Wenger lol Maybe Arsenal would use the money to buy someone in Jan? Would Sanchez push through a move? Difficult times for Arsenal with Sanchez, Ozil and Wiltshire out of contract, i love it
January 1, 20188 yr Leave it to Burnley to concede at the dying minutes from Klavan no less. At least this ups the pressure for Utd Edit: Freudian slip. Edited January 1, 20188 yr by Deino
