I would have been so annoyed if we'd had a penalty like that given against us. Arm across his chest, hit by a shot a couple of metres away. Would have made no difference if it'd hit his arm or chest.

That said, Arsenal got a flukey goal and didn't deserve 3 points anyway

What a great end to the football year, not perfect but a very good weekend. Only fly in the ointment was Salah but less said about him the better.

Not often you see Cech with a heated rant.

Chambers' arm was in an unnatural position and moved towards the ball so according to the book it's a pen but really it was just a reflex reaction to something moving towards you and there was probably no advantage to him using his arm anyway, if he didn't use his arm it would hit his chest.

In slow mo replays you see this sometimes, players would jerk their arm towards the ball in pure reflex regardless of whether it is going to help the team or not.

That being said, with the amount of 'luck' they got from refs over a few seasons now, it's about they paid back some football karma..

I'm looking forward to seeing MOTD2 tonight not for us just the anguish on Pep's and Wengers faces coz of todays events. 

Of course we can't get too carried as we need to produce on Wednesday. 

Yes harsh but guess what, every team gets harsh decisions against them. Score more than a lucky deflected goal and the harsh call won't matter.
