you can see the confidence in zappa when he's even attempting that shot, he's been our best player imo, Alonso and Kante have also been superb for us. 

This is what we need going into barca. Let’s get hazard and Kante off sooner rather than later in the next 45. 

I don't think Giroud has been spectacular or anything, but you can see things in his game that just aren't there in Morata's. Like when he losses the ball, he will chase and fight to win it back, Morata losses the ball and his head will go down or he will chase the player, foul him, then moan at the ref. Hopefully, Morata is watching and learning from the bench, he will never make it in this league if his attitude remains the same.

Willian has been brilliant again.

I think it was good defending, but the extra pass gave the defender time to cover the line

Happy enough with that half. Dominant so far, let's hope it continues in the 2nd half.

Always has been Hazards problem, his composure and decision making in front of goal is piss poor, he'll shoot when not to shoot and pass when not to pass. 

It's been a while since i've enjoyed Chelsea's playing... such a shame that Conte is gonna lock away this attacking Chelsea in favour of the defensive one we had against City for the Barcelona game. 

Excellent first half, we've been up for this right from the start and shown intent in our passing and getting stuck in to challenges. 

 

Zappa has been fantastic, Alonso too. Kante as always has been everywhere. My only complaint is that we're nor 4 or 5 up. It easily could've been. Lets get another and then bring on Pedro and Baka and rest Willian and Hazard for Wednesday night. 

I like our creativity in the attack, Hazard and Willian are enjoying their football but Giroud is a bit missing, missed one big chance also. 

Again, this game should not be compared with Barcelona's game, but we still can take positive points from this half. We're dominating and that's good enough, looking forward to the same half in the second one.

We need this confidence, this motivation, this form. COME ON CHELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't recall seeing Willian as confident as this before. He's really come into his own this last month or so.

Chelsea all over Palace but no emotion from Conte on the touchline, which is telling. We should be further ahead and how  Giroud didn't score I'll never know. More attacking in the same second half. We need another goal because Zaha will cause us problems. Keep it up and don't sit back.

I wouldn't exactly call that lacking composure. If he lacked composure, then he would have messed up that pass to Giroud. I don't think Hazard has any problem with that personally, i like that he is a team player and have no problem with him making that pass to Giroud.

In his best form since he joined the club in my opinion. He's finally doing what we have been wanting him to do, producing end product.

Yes I agree, that's why I'd start Giroud on Wednesday night.
