Given the options we now have in our midfield, Kovacic would have spent a lot of time on our bench, so the move to City was good for all and we really won't miss what he gave us (whatever that was!)

Nah he’s been really good. City fans singing his praises calling him bargain of the season. Probably would not have been as good at Chelsea as they are a total mess right now.

November 13, 20232 yr Anyone seen the video where Kovacic appears to celebrate Palmer's equaliser from the penalty spot?

Go to Turkey, Mateo, and reunite with the legend that is Ziyech.
December 5, 20232 yr I feel like Kovačić and Mudryk are the antithesis of each other in the proud recent history of Chelsea players with bizarre contradictory skillsets. Kova: the technically outstanding centre mid whose best attributes are for some reason his dribbling and his work rate. Mudryk: the lightning fast athlete with an appalling touch but who is for some reason pretty good at picking a pass. Combine the best attributes of both and you almost have a Willian.

And both as consistent as my grandmother's custard
